Found this cool site where you can "ride along" with the storm chasers. Could be interesting during severe weather. Chased some storms when I was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. What an adrenaline rush.

I haven't found one with audio yet. If you hover over the streaming video you can watch in full-screen. There is also a volume control there, but again, haven't found one with audio as of right now.

As I stated in the OP, I did it a few times while in Oklahoma. The adrenaline rush is incredible, and knowing that a tornado could forrm at any moment keeps you on the edge of your seat. I definitely recommend it to any adrenaline junkies.

What a great link - it looks as if
I should button down the hatches
as the tornado threat is pretty
high for us this evening. S @ F

Yes, we have a chance for them tonight here in NE Ohio when the warm front moves through. Hopefully nothing comes of it here or where you are. Going to be an active storm season I think.

I couldn't believe the reports coming out of the Southern US. Unbelieveable damage. Glad you pulled through it ok.

Looks like St. Louis, MO or East St. Louis, IL is about to get hit. Following the Omaha Twister Chasers cam.

Very cool link! Thanks for sharing with us. Some how Reed Timmer must be working in cooperation with that site. He is the owner of Tornado Videos.net . The same guy from Storm Chasers on Discovery Channel.

This is Reed.

Yes, I am following his streaming video now. They were just SW of Springfield, IL when a tornado touched down. Seems to have dissipated now though.

People usually tell me that I am nuts, when I say that I have always wanted to do something like this. Nice to know I am not alone.

I think you have to be a little nuts to do something like this, but what an awesome display of raw power. Nature's way of reminding us who is really in charge.

Not to hate but I don't like their show on Discovery.
