Why aren't the TV preachers raising holy hell about our fundamental, God-given rights being abrogated by the state?
Ah, my friend, great question! There is a reason I refer to those judges and lawyers who insist on dismissing the supremacy of rights as being priest
class lawyers, and I do not use that phrase out of a profound respect for the priest class. While I am a believer in God, I am in no way a believer
in institutionalized religions.
The whole "render unto Caesar" blather about supplication to the state is no excuse for allowing them to take away from the people that which God
has given us.
Again, great point! This is the problem with the priest class and their mystical incantations. For any priest, religious or secular, in the United
States, to fall back on "render unto Caesar" argument is a profound disregard for the Constitution for the United States - a document of which does
not show disregard for either religion, and certainly not our Creator - as the Constitution makes perfectly clear that in the United States
there
are no Caesars!
How ironic, that when these priests fall back on this argument they either ignore New Testaments commandment to "obey the laws of the land", or
alternately use this verse to justify bogus legislation that tramples upon the rights of people. Of course, even if the priest class ignore it, and
you or I bring it up to them, they will counter that a "good Christian" is commanded to submit to civil authorities, which again misses the entire
point of both the federal Constitution and all state Constitutions. There are no Caesars, and We the People are the civil authorities!
Of course, the religious institutions have conspired with government to suppress the people. This is why, in spite of the First Amendments insistence
that Congress shall make no laws respecting the establishment of a religion, that the IRS will hound any religion into bankruptcy if they do not apply
for a 501(c)-series of approval in order to exist, and of course, "comply with the tax laws", where ironically, and even though it is highly dubious
that any religion is liable for any so called "Personal Income Tax", that their 501(c)-3, or 4, or 5 or whatever they are applying for, is an
"exemption from" the tax. How insane is that?
In fact, I remember years ago getting roped into one of those Scientology introduction films, and my jaw dropped down to the floor when I was watching
this film and the narrator said: "Now, you may ask what makes us a religion? Well, no less than the IRS states..." Cut to an insert of the actual
document from the IRS that the narrator is quoting. "...Scientology is a bona-fide religion."
Imagine that! A church is using the endorsement of the IRS in order to prove they are actually a religion! Just how insane are We the People?
Wake up churches! The state has declared itself above our Creator.
While you consistently make great posts in this site, this one is my very favorite!
We need divine intercession before either the people rise up or the state puts them down. I'm truly afraid that things will turn violent and we will
lose all that we have fought for the last 200+ years. We're supposed to be on the same side after all - "One Nation, under........who?"
We very well may descend into violent revolution, but because of people like you, and many, many others in this site, I remain faithful that we can
influence a peaceful "velvet" revolution of non-acquiescence to the creepy little Caesar's who have presumed they have authority greater than that
of the inherent political power of the people.
Keep fighting the good fight, brother.
