Yep i was contrasting, we will cringe at spending a few bucks to research something that will save but will dump loads of cash into a killing machine, but yep same page.

Canadian doctors (my own included) know that many diseases can be cured with Vitamin B, diet changes, and exercise.

9 months ago, I was diagnosed as one of the worse cases of Type 2 diabetes my doc had ever seen. He prescribed (SHORT TERM) medication, diet changes, and exercise. 3 months ago I stopped taking the medication and my diabetes is fully under control without it.

Vitamin B is a "wonder drug" that in large enough quantities can cure just about anything, but big pharma actively campaigned in the 1930's to have sales at first banned, then when this wouldn't pass, they had the dosages made so minimal in the "over the counter" variety that the health benefits became negligible.

The reason they fought so vehemently against vitamin B? They realized that if the general public found out that most diseases could be cured with simple vitamins, diet changes, and exercise, that big pharma would be out of business.

In the USA, big pharma actively advertises their brand name medication. The USA and Canada are just about the only countries on the planet where the public goes to their doctor and asks for specific medication because they saw an ad for it on tv. In Canada, doctors (at least mine and two others I've seen including specialists) are much more likely to promote lifestyle changes than ongoing medication for the rest of your life than those in the USA.

In the USA, doctors are not about curing diseases, they are just about getting you on the "right medication" so that the symptoms of your diseases are treated, not the root causes.

Of course not. Cancer is big business.
And diabetes is another racket. Sugar causes diabetes. We have known that for ages but there is a big business trying to find ways to deny that and skirt around the issue. Why tell people to cut back on sugar when you have such a good thing going selling sugar and the by products ...diabetes meds, treatments and supplies?

Guys stop being silly about this. Cancer is not like polio where you can create a vaccine which will eventually cause it's extinction. People will ALWAYS have cancer it has to do with genetics, we all have damaged cells in our body that can start multiplying at any moment. This in combination of all the horrible crap we eat loaded with unnatural chemicals pretty much guarantees a steady flow of cancer victims. There is not a cure for cancer and it has nothing to do with evil capitalists wanting to make a buck. Do you honestly believe every single person in the research industry/infrastructure system has zero morals and cold black hearts lined with george washington and his fellow friends lol?

I agree. I have some family very high up in a major pharm company. There is plenty of money to be made from a cure, billions. Thousands of scientists are trying to find cures as we speak because whoever does will be one very rich man. The company that my fathers company uses for all their research are finding more out about breast cancer and from what they are saying, are very close to finding one for that particular one.

This makes me sick my mother passed away the other day with cancer and to see something like this is just.. i dont know what to say...

Just one of the many "cures" that are available but wont generate revenue. This just shows the evil of money in society, we need to share this info by going door to door and hold local community charities for such things. This would really wake up alot of folks as cancer nearly affects everyone these days. kudos for the find.

Karma dictates the people responsible for holding back cures die of the same disease - painfully.

Phage, I think that your cursory review of DCA helped bring a bit more light to the subject.. I agree that one should not jump to conclusions on therapies this early in the game... In saying that, the study :

clearly shows that it is incredibly effective and has little side effects (unlike the one in children), and that these side effects are reverse-able.

I would say that our OP has every reason to be as angry as he is.. This drug should be fast tracked... but of course it is not patentable at this point... a dose would be only pennies.. It is time to bring change to Big Pharma and their lackies the FDA..

So, you are diagnosed with cancer...or perhaps your child is...and you are told "This therapy will cure you"...you gonna take a pass saying,"No, I saw this thing on the internet"?
