Something strange in the sky every night

This seems to be it. I've been watching this one for a few nights since I work graveyards and have nothing else to do. It tends to flicker blue, green, and red. I have seen a hint of purple in it at times as well. It has baffled me. CNN iReport is also saying 11/9/11 (my 23rd birthday. Yes, I am probably the chosen one ) could be the day Elenin comes through. I doubt they are connected, though. Anyways, this is my first post. We should all hug sometimes.
