I was made aware of this along time ago by some very good friends of mine Arthur & Prefect In all seriousness 42 has been around years before hitchhikers guid to the galaxy, its a shame you haven't done more with this thread as there is an abundance of data when it comes to 42, religion,technology and science all incorporate 42 not to mention the occultists and people in the know

Some interesting facts about our dear friend 42

* Forty-two is a pronic number and an abundant number; its prime factorization 2 · 3 · 7 makes it the second sphenic number and also the second of the form [ 2 · 3 · r ].
