The top 10 countries on the list is:

89.31 - - Switzerland
88.93 - - Sweden
87.94 - - Australia
87.45 - - Luxembourg
87.35 - - Norway
87.29 - - Canada
86.10 - - Netherlands
85.99 - - Japan
85.89 - - Denmark

Nope. Australia has operated an openly racist immigration policy until the latter part of the 20th century.

New Zealand is equally as strict I find.

Maybe. But then again it's cold.

9 Japan

Maybe. I've encountered far too much anecdotal tales of racism in Japan towards foreigners from ppl who have travelled there. Not so much in the cities as elsewhere.

I can just imagine the correlations some ppl will infer as to why these countries are in the top 10.

Number of muslims/immigrants being low or something etc.

I live in Oz and overall, the quality of life over here is 2nd to none. So the fact that Oz makes the top 10 is NO surprise whatsoever !
The fact that we managed to weather the current economic downturn virtually unscathed speaks volumes alone
