telling people people what to think and how to think is one of the greatest
threats this country has if you no other reason the power it gives them

place people with their poltical philosophy with huge spheres in influence

that way it doesnt really take a large number of people to be effective

and if the main stream media of the left had existed during hitlers time

he would have definately used it.

if fact american politcal propaganda was taken directly from the nazis thats

two warring politcal ideologies will compete but one will win out in the end
this is fact.

it is also a fact that a moderate ideology will always lose out to a stronger
one but then agian all it takes for a radical to get into power is to pretend
to be moderate much like how obama came into power.

The right gets these labels from their talk show host and Fox news. I have recently come to the realization that the right is not racist or anything like that in it's natures. It's just people like Glenn Beck & Michael Savage that make them appear that way. Those people don't represent true conservatives. I recently attended the young conservative students club at my college, great people (most of them). I personally believe that Fox and radio talk show host paints a disgusting inaccurate portrait of the true conservatives.

See here in Britain, and in Europe, fascism is a RIGHT wing thing. Xenophobes, homophobes, anti semites, are all extreme right wing , not left. An example would be the English Defense League, or the BNP. These are not left wing organisations but far right extremists.
Left wing organisations include a group called Antifa , which means anti fascism... they directly and physicaly oppose all forms of xenophobia, and have semi terrorist status because they operate by cells, infiltrate fascist organisations, and occasionaly topple these organisations from the inside.
KKK? Far right. That Nazi colony in the south of america which I can never remember the name of? Far right. Hitler... regardless of ones opinion, here in Britain (where the only accurate accounts of the politics of the second world war can be found) we know him to have been a far right extremist.

All those arguments can be turned around to show that the "right" are the bad guys. So what? There is one thing which is clear. It is by far those on the right, especially the libertarians, who want the highest degree of freedom for business and the least protections for the consumers. It is always the right who declares that "the free marketplace" will self cleanse and thus does not need any government controls". Before the rise of the left in America a six, 12 hr day week was the norm with wages that insured no more than bare survival. Reflecting on this the right will always say that each of us can choose how he/she will live.

The libertarians want the smallest possible federal government. What they fail to realize is that if one power group abdicates another will quickly rise to fill the vacancy. So is this true? When the USSR caved for a while the whole country was "ruled" by Russian organized crime who rose to take the lead. So would this happen here? Not exactly. Here the retreating government would be replaced by powerful international corporations and we would become the "Corporate States of America". Silly you say? No. Business has long worked to control the law making process in our country.

That is enough of that except to say that it is always the right who supports big corporations and it is always the left who is wary of them. Which of these two could possibly be more in "touch" with ordinary citizens? I fear for my country every time the political right becomes more powerful. There is quickly rising a new aristocracy in the land which will displace and reduce most of us to something very much like the serfs of old Europe.

The "facist left"? That is a joke. Facism is the marriage of big business to the government with the military doing it's "dirty work". Who, I ask you, started the Iraq war and then sent big business there to do the "dirty work"? It was Cheney of course. Halliburton and Blackwater are two that come to mind. Of the left and the right which would be inclined to think of this? Which of those two groups would see the combination of war and business as being "normal"? There are precious few super rich who identify with the political left and fewer still who would define American interests as being anything but our country getting the world's resources under our control. This is not something the left normally does. Does anyone out there think about how many of the super powerful/super rich in our country are registered democrats and how many are registered republicans? I do. This idea of facism of the left would require big business to be made up of mostly democrats but that is not the case.

Nice try who ever came up with this topic. Facism has never been a popular mechanism. Wherever it has existed business and military were far too close to government.

ps... There was no facism in nazi Germany. There was in nazi Italy because of Mussolini who was of that bent before the rise of Hitler.

The left and right is the same here. The left and right comes from the french revolution of the 18th century. Simply those who were in the middle of the table were the debate was held, those on the left and those on the right. "neo" is incorrect in his post. Both sides have their negatives. But it is the same world wide when you say far left, or far right because those statements are referring to the views of those during the French revolution.

Because they feel that their side can do no wrong. I too have seen many people on here and Youtube that argue and see he was left. I have seen tea party clips when they call Obama a Communist/socialist/fascist lol. They are ignorant. I myself am pretty left and will not deny that people on the left have done some horrible things.

As dependent as I am upon spellchecker...I will readily concede that not everybody types or spells well. Sure, good spelling and grammar add to the general credibility of a post, but I am loathe to discourage anybody from posting because they aren't confident in their presentation.

second ammendment,the hcr bill,social security,medicaid,medicare,welfare,housing welfare,unions, to the new consumer protectection agency outside of us law and has given them the power over trillions of dollars of americans.
