Wow I never knew you tracked all that information.

I know I have been clicking all over different areas to see what it looks like.

So are we allowed to have our posts in all one color if we want I never knew if we could but now that you have those options there I was wondering.

There is actually significantly FEWER ads on the site home page in the 2010 edition as compared to the previous site home. I'm not sure what you're seeing.

I dislike the recent posts page now,
It is harder to distinguish what category the topic is in..
Also maybe put the original post date in with the title?

What remains, in probable order of integration:

(1) Search page
--- improved interface for search, but still not a direct search of the ATS database

(2) Member tools section
--- significant upgrade to U2U functionality, now simply called "private messages"
--- significant revision of the MyATS interface
--- improved account settings management - nothing will require points to change
--- improved password management - one page changes password on ATS and the media portal
--- vastly improved list of members - sort by posts, flags, stars
--- other minor improvements in subscriptions, complaint form, and others

(3) Log-in/Log-out page
--- faster, cleaner, better

(4) Thread pages
--- one of the most significant changes for members: a much cleaner more simple and efficient display
--- improved "mini-profile" links
--- improved avatar display (no changes in size)
--- non-members still see less, but is much cleaner and more efficient
--- overall 40% reduction in the HTML required to display a thread - this is huge

Wow sounds good to me

I didn't realize until recently that non-members can't see member info. I was worried about this with being on FB and having ATS on there and posting threads on my FB. I like that I am still anonymous between the two, besides those who know me on both

You mentioned avatars, is it possible to have it where when you upload an avatar it is automatically the size that is required? I know I have a crazy time getting this right.

Well first, thanks for at least listening and toning down that blue bar, and the recent posts page. It is somewhat more readable now.

The speed increase though is quite noticeable now to me. The site is performing much faster. With a 40% reduction in code, that had to have a great effect. The other changes sound cool too.

Just wanted to say I love it so far! This has a real techno/future driven style, very easy to get around., love the color scheme. I think the graphics scheme completely captures the essence of the board.

Everything looks good, however.

Earlier in this thread someone mentioned it was annoying when your mouse hovers over the thread title on the recent threads page and highlights the thread.

Love the work so far,looks great,and easy to navigate.
One minor piece of constructive critism at this late stage-

One the "post a reply/comment" page (which I type on now),I did used to like the link back to the post/thread you were replying to above where you type.Its absent at the moment-
Will that be back,or should I get into just opening a new tab for my replys?

Not a major worry by any stretch,and I do like the new style overall.

The forum pages, listing threads, has been added.

SO,

I really dig all the changes. Really, I do, except one. The TOP button.

Pretty please, with a whole bottle of cherries on top, can we get that back? I'm not a post whore but I do read loads on here and that button really helped as I could go back and not have to deal with scrolling back up a large page, letting me get to MyATS or the threads on the side of the page.

Thanks. I must really have no life as it's kinda fun to putz around and see all the changes and see how things work.

Not sure if that is in the works, but I use CTRL + Home and it takes me to the top of the page... give it a try

In the meantime, here's a suggestion: put your cursor on the "recent posts" button, click and hold, drag it to your toolbar in your internet browser and release. You should have a working recent posts refresh button on your internet browser which works in the same way as it would on the site, except you don't have to scroll to the top of the page to access it.

Not seeing any threads with a (+)

I have the same problem..

All I see on the recent posts page is:

"Unknown column '95a' in 'where clause'"

Can't click on any (+), there's nothing there, no threads, no pages, nothing.

I have looked around for other ways of finding those plus signs but I haven't seen any.

Love the changes so far, but can you make the line between the stickie/stuck threads and the normal ones thicker on the Thread Lists?
