Well these claims collapsed a lot quicker than I expected, which is good for Assange I don't think he would carry on breathing for very long once he was inside any prison. Nonetheless as others have said this will have done a great deal of damage to the face of WikiLeaks, though it is doubtless something that they will recover from.

No but I'm saying it's not my fault the worlds governments sold your soldiers into this mess. The best thing all other countries can do is butt out.

Wait, what? You admit that your government dragged us into a mess and then tell us to butt out?

Hackers are criminals to begin with.

Seriously gtfo. Do you have any idea whatsoever about what you are talking about? Or do you just think of hackers as the media presents them? Believe me there are few things that could have made you seem more ignorant universally. At least if you were to say that a conspiracy was false you would only be upsetting a small portion of ATS members.

BUT
this goes too far if he has been falsely accused.
What next? Child porn on his computer and Blackberry?

Did I already say I didn't care for the dork.

Endanger the security? Endanger the troops? The only "Endangerment" from letting these secrets out is those that are keeping them from the people, as well all have the right to know.

This endangers nobody except for those running "Black OPs". I hope those involved in these operations face the people, and I hope it gets bloody.

As for the two women that accused him of rape, this is just the beginning of "Dirty Attacks" from the US. Remember those two words? "or else"? Well, I got a feeling something "dark" is going on, and agents went and paid off two whores to say they were raped by Julian Assange. Red flags should be going up here people, and clearly, after what this guy is going though, its no coincidence. Two women that know each other, file false charges of rape and molestation. But to better said:

What's fishy about that story is if the women actually knew who Julian was, thus "fearing his power," which is a joke of a claim, and knew what his controversial Wikileaks issue was about, why would they seek to file a false report of rape, especially since he up against the U.S Government?

Read more: www.sfgate.com...

The two women didn't even know the guy, or who he was, and they filed false charges on him? Now lets not jump to conc....Don't give me that, or in this case, towards anybody else. We all heard what was said out of the Pentagon:

"Obnoxious Pentagon spokesperson issues formal threat against Wikileaks: destroy everything, or else."

engforum.pravda.ru...

Destroy everything, or else. Thats four words, so here, let me fill in the rest of it, shall I?
-Destroy everything, or else we will use any dirty, unconstitutional tactic in our book to bring you in, charge you falsely, and then put you in a private/secret prison and begin the erasing process.

That sounds just about right now does it? And to think that the average person thinks, "Only this happens in the movies". Well, you better start waking up, because we're just now scraping off the frosting of the cake.

It's funny how any time some one claims to have some dirt on America every foreigner out there jumps online spewing hatred to America and praising scum like this guy.

I hope your joking.

Hey, I used to be a proud american, that watched the news that only let you pick off the icing of the cake. However, things are different now since I see the obvious lies, deception, and the random supposed Suicides of those that have valuable information. I'll never respect my country (America), nor fight for it, until they can clear their s*** up. End of story.

Ahhh i have waited for this, i think in one thread somewhere i even said it would happen.

When someone is causing trouble there are a couple of crimes you can utterly destroy them with, rape and paedophilia are the two big ones. I remember that scene from "Enemy of the State" about credibility.

Maybe he did but due to the atmosphere involved and the source it's coming from i happen to think this is a smear campaign. Expect to hear more terrible thing sabout the man soon enough.

On the topic of endangering people, those claims that he was endangering the lives of informants are greatly exaggerated, at least to the amount that he was to blame.

the material was classified only as Secret, so would be relatively widely available to security-cleared individuals.
The Register

It's a wonder that it wasn't leaked long beforehand.

I'm sorry but do any of the people defending Assange know anything about him other than the Wikileaks information? I doubt it. Most of you were so quick to give him a pass because of your antiUS garbage. You automatically blame "them" with nor proof of fabricating the charges. What happened to actually looking for the truth?

And to the foolish people who said that his 90k document leaks endangerment of people was "greatly exaggerated". Liar. He left "hundreds of names of Afghan informers and civillian officials" who were aiding the US and Afghan government in fighting the Taliban. He put all of their lives in danger. The US is now obligated to protect them. SO the people protecting these people are endangered as well.

If anyone of those people are injured he should be charged as an accesory. But how is that not putting people in danger?

People are so busy hating the US that they fail to even look for the truth. Assange gets instant credibility. Nobody looks at his criminal record or his past hoaxes much less actually tries to see how dangerous what he's doing is to many many innocent people. The US being right or wrong doesn't matter. See him for what he is, good or bad. Use your brain and do research. And keep an open mind.

If you already know the answers then why ask a question? Many ask a question and when they get a contradictary opinion start blasting. How can you deny ignorance without an open mind?

It's all over,
"Sweden drops warrant for WikiLeaks founder"

""I do not consider there to be any reason to suspect that he has committed rape," chief prosecutor Eva Finné said in a statement explaining her decision.

The statement was issued at 4.30pm on Saturday to confirm that Assange was no longer a suspect and is thus no longer required to contact the police.

"She (Eva Finné) has adjudged that he is not suspected of rape. There is thus no reason to retain a warrant for his arrest," Karin Rosander at the Prosecution Authority confirme"

I think they meant that they had excited him, then they refused themselves to him. Many women do this for fun. The problem is many men can't be stopped when they're hot (in France anyway, that's a sure thing). It's a little bit strange not to know that at thirty.
Anyway, for me this whole story is bogus.

So far as I am aware, he has not been tried and convicted on either of the rape cases, nor has he been charged by the police, so therefore he is NOT a rapist, nothing to accept or get over.

Of course I may be missing your sarcasm, but taking into account the tone of the rest of your post I doubt it.

Conspiracy theorists mostly rely on emotions rather than facts. You are TPTB and you want to infiltrate them? Well then just support their theories. They'll accept you with no questions asked.

Bonjour jeanne! yeah, this story sounds like a cry-rape story to be honest!

But no! they didn't JUST teased him and excited him, they had full blown voluntary sex with him - or at least they say so themselves.

Both of the women HAD voluntary sex with him according to an Interview with one of the women in the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.

According to her, the sex act started out normal with their consent BUT that they were "molested" in some form later!

In Sweden there has been a legal debate and a legal discussion about "sexual molestation" of sleeping women!

(this extended Law clause probably came about from some women lobby groups and female politicians to protect women from being penetrated unwillingly during sleep/half a sleep without consent - and that could apparently be counted as rape/sexual molestation in Sweden)

Apparently there were many cases where women had found themselves to be in a bed with a man which they had met while being very intoxicated at some nightclub - and suddenly during the night they woke up from being penetrated by the man that they followed home - or took home themselves.

And they perhaps didn't remember how this man ended up in the same bed as them?

(and the man by that stage (while the woman was more sober) probably didn't look as hot as he did in the nightclub ten drinks ago for the woman LOL!)

And this scenario was ONE of MANY that were debated in a TV show.

Look! it's crazy! because the implications of this Law clause can really be a legal dilemma - but the legal discussion and the crazy implications of this law clause about this scenario goes similar to this according to the Laws involved:

You and I meet at a club/place and we like eachother, and later you decide to follow me home. One thing leads to another in my sofa and we both want to make love so we have sex in my bed with your consent.

We both like it very much and both are happy after the act - but we are tired and sleepy!

So you decide to stay over and slep beside me in my bed - perfectly normal scenario.

(Now here it's where the fun starts with this hypothetical legal dilemma according to the Laws involved)

*Snip* I edited out a lot of text here because I was not sure if what I wrote was against T&C or not - so I self-censored myself to be on the safe side! lol!

And I have already explained to the member who quoted me!

Okey this is a highly exaggerated scenario of this hypothetical dilemma in the technical legal sense, but it could actually happen if some revengeous woman wishes you harm and goes to the Police.

I'm so sorry jeanne for this long-winded insane story to describe a possible situation about "molestation" charges. LOL!

I hope you understood what i was trying to explain? - Haha!

Perhaps the women are totally lying and there were no molestation - and they used the Swedish Law to get revenge on Assange because he have now ditched them as one night stands - So they are now maybe disappointed because the charming Assange lured them into having sex (maybe with promises of Love/relationship) but Assange ditched them after a one night stand - and now they want to take revenge by using this Swedish Law clause about molestation of sleeping women to get even?

Or maybe the whole thing is just pure fiction from the women - and Assange never had sex with either of them - but they are now saying that he had sex with them, and are now using this Swedish Law clause and current conditions just to smear him - like some fabricated honey trap?

That is also a possibility perhaps?

Or something similar to that!

It could maybe also be something more kinky that was sexually degrading to these women perhaps? - that would also fit the legal description of: sexual molestation in Swedish Law.

(meh! I'm only speculating here - lol!)

But some of this could exactly fit the story from one of the women in this interview in Aftonbladet yesterday:

In both cases, it is about voluntary sex said the women - The other woman wanted to report rape. I gave my story as testimony to her story and to support her. We stand firm by our testimonies the woman said to Aftonbladet.

The responsibility for what happened to me and the other girl is in a man with a skewed view of womens, and a man that can't take a no for an answer.

www.aftonbladet.se...

But from the same article we can also read from the Swedish cheif-prosescutor who took over the case that the "rape-charges" were totally unfounded for and not true, but that there's still suspicions about some very minor stuff that the prosecutor needed to look into more deeply next working week.

The case is still open and in the point of view of the Rule of Law, he is still under Suspicion. What criminal description in the end, I can not say - said the hard pressured Eva Finné . The Chief Prosecutor Eva Finné: "we need to look into this case more thoroughly next week".

So that was what Eva Finné had to say on the matter, - she only had the two women's story to the Police and had not yet heard the story from Assange or even said that he will or need to be heard in the case.

(basically nothing! probably a cry-rape case going sour - nothing will ever happen to Assange - the next week the Chief Prosecutor will probably drop the case to prevent any further embarrassments for the Swedish Prosecution Authority)

The initial Prosecutor who made the rape arrest warrant for Assange soley based of the two women's weak story and handled the case in the beginning - Maria Häljebo Kjellstrand. - has today been filed with an official complaint from the independent organisation for Law and order/Rule of Law Security for misconduct in the service as a public Prosecutor for issuing a very serious "rape" warrent.

This is the latest information from the Swedish Chief Prosecutor:
(In Swedish - use translation tool)
www.aklagare.se...

More information about this next week perhaps?

Thanks for the long and detailed explanation. This law is so strange that I'm sure I wouldn't have understood it without your help.
You must have a 99,99% rape ratio on sunday mornings!

Got it!

*SNIP*

You must have a 99,99% rape ratio on sunday mornings!

Yeah exactly! Haha!
I'm so happy that you actually understood my explanation of this legal dilemma!

But you understood the crazy implictions which can occur from this Law clause perfectly!

Yeah! technically in eyes of the Law - 99,99% of those men in bed with a woman to whom they are not married to on a Sunday morning could risk to be charged with rape/sexual molestation - if the woman decides to go to the Police for whatever evil reason and depending on her story!

And technically even your wife can use this against you!

(but if you're married to someone it is assumed that you have their consent!)

Most of the time anyway!

Crazy in some way isn't it? - I also understand that this extended Law clause came about to protect women from be taken advantage of - but this give revengeous women a great tool against men - and O'boy! they are using it - we can see that from all the scandals with false rape charges and molestation statistics these recent few years.

Now the Police and the legal authorities hopefully understand that they need to change or modify this Law, because this circus cost the society millions in legal costs from false charges - reported and filed to the Police & the legal system by revengeous or scorned women.

And it takes away very important focus and police & legal resources from women who are actually raped/molested for real!

Crazy!

Even if I love Sweden - sometimes I'm thankful that I'm only half-Swedish and also have residency in another European country more South.

That keeps me sane in more ways than one!
