Yep. And those bases pissed the fundies off enough to...well, you know. But heaven forbid some people here should ever have the balls to cop to that little bit of responsibility. This place is getting sickening.

“The Wahhabi Invasion of America”

Reza F. Safa, author of Inside Islam, estimates that since 1973, the Saudi government has spent an unbelievable $87 billion to promote Wahhabism in the United States, Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe.

According to official Saudi information, Saudi funds have been used to build and maintain

over 1,500 mosques,

202 colleges

210 Islamic Centers wholly or partly financed by Saudi Arabia

and almost 2,000 schools for educating Muslim children in non-Islamic countries in Europe, North and South America, Australia and Asia

That says it all !

That is what Americans need to know !

It explains the proliferation of pro-muslim threads in this and other forums

And maybe it explains a lot about Obama and that thing known as the 'US Congress' ... too ?

Game over

People in America have the right to believe in whatever religion they choose. Whether that be Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, Capitalism, whatever, so, these people also have the right to worship at a place of their choosing.

No religion in and of itself is evil or good, it's what the people do in the name of that religion that is evil or good.

So, to answer the OP question, Mosques should be able to be built anywhere a Christian Church is able to be built, anywhere a bank is able to be built. Because freedom trumps all.

This shall remain a dark, violent and not too fun planet until we can add brothels, opium dens and gambling halls to that list. What ever happened to the fun good old days?

Oh that’s right, the world got religion!

You say:

So tell me this:

How many Christian Churches are being constucted in muslim nations right now ?

How many Christian Churches have been constructed in muslim nations since the flood of muslims to the West commenced ?

How many Christian and other non-muslim places of worship have been desecrated by muslims in muslim lands ?

How many Christians and non-muslims have been slaughtered by muslims since the muslim invasion of the West commenced ?

Where -- within muslim nations --- are muslims screaming for the right of Christians and other non-muslims to erect places of worship in muslim lands

Please provide links to muslim forums where muslims are defending the right of non-muslims to erect places of worship in muslim lands

and please provide links to muslim politicians' insistence that non-muslims have the right to erect places of worship within muslim lands

How many nations other than America do you live in, and how many Mosques in America do you visit, how many parking spaces have you lost to people parking there instead going to a mosque.

Which of the many Christian churches throughout the Muslim world do you wish to go attend services at?

It is amazing watching people whip them selves into a frenzy over this nonsense.

Some posters really need to get a puppy or something.

Wait, don't we have those already? You're just not looking hard enough in your area.

Oh I know why you're having such a hard time, times have changed.

Brothels = Sorority House.

Opium Dens = Crack House.

Gambling Halls = Indian Casino.

The answer to all of your questions is now stay with me...

I don't care, because this is America, not the Middle East.

The funny thing about people like you is, that you have no POINT.

You either ask questions, or lay a rhetoric to stir emotions.

Here, I give you a challenge:

Your POINT is??

Again, and I know for some weird reason this is a hard concept for you to grasp. This is America, not the Middle East.

That's all false advertising, I want the real deal, and since all this nonsense seems to be about some warped sense of parity, I now have no choice but to insist that no more religious facilities of any sect or denomination can be built until there is an equal number of Brothels, Opium Dens, and Gambling Halls!

So why can't the religious build their churches in Rome, Mecca, and Jerusalem, why do we have to have them here? They are crowding out the Brothels, Opium Dens and Gambling Halls!

Plus attempting to drive off business for all of the above!

Since this is a parity argument, the places I worship at, should of course not be left out of the 'score' keeping.

The question remains unanswered

and it's suspected that the purported 'responses' are intended only to bury the above information

I can do the same, the invasion of the world by America:

World Wide Military Expenditures

Rest-of-World [all but USA] - $500 billion
United States - $623 billion

www.globalsecurity.org...

That was easier than I thought

But just like you, I have no point.

Not to bury the above misinformation. But again, I don't care how middle eastern countries govern themselves, not my problem. This is America, we have freedom of religion here, if your religion is hate towards other religions, I guess that's ok too.

But you are essentially getting the same thing at all three, and have you been to a Sorority House? Much cheaper than a brothel and I do have to say a better selection.

According to Google there is a secret Christian church in Mecca
until there is a Christian church built there and attendees are
allowed to worship God in that way, why should we allow a Mosque to be built in NY at the site of the WTC??

actually, i don't have much of a problem with the proposed mosque, unless what i believe is true about the funding coming from terrorists.

And what about the article saying that OUR tax dollars are
paying the Imam(sp?) to go to arab countries to solicit funds for
this mosque??

Those people are not properly trained or unionized!

Crack and Opium result in completely different altered states!

Most Indian Casions only have pan poker and slot machines, and too little competition over too wide a geographical area.

I have come to see this whole Mosque thing as a manipulation to attract more towards religious values, and institutions, which is really aimed at running what few legitimate brothels, gambling houses and opium dens there are out of business!

If we really are to have parity in religion in this nation, then every where any religious facility is built there should be at least one 'Sex Drugs and Rock n Roll Venue"

Rotten no good party pooping cultists!

I think they should build as many mosques in the US as there are churches in Saudi Arabia. Oh wait a minute, churches aren't allowed in Saudi Arabia.

Do you really suggest to transform USA in a secular Christian society?
What about your constitution?
What about muslim american's rights?
Maybe the stereotype of the big dumb selfish uneducated redneck american has some foundation after all...

a growing number of nasty controversies over proposed mosques in California, Georgia, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Illinois as well as Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, and Midland Beach, Staten Island, in New York City.  Such protests are emerging with alarming frequency.

And I may add:

The proliferation of, and acceptance of, such talk, particularly from major political candidates, may be preparing the American ground for the emergence of a leader who can synthesize the demonizing and scapegoating of Muslims, fears augmented by severe economic anxiety, the maturing of extreme rightwing activism, and a widespread and growing contempt for official Washington. If that happens, the nation -- and American Muslims -- could face something far worse than McCarthy, who held sway in a golden era of rising expectations and general economic growth. something far worse than McCarthy, who held sway in a golden era of rising expectations and general economic growth.

Please search "Christianity in Iran" on Wikipedia.
That is one muslim country that have over 600 Christian churches. And it's on the radical side... Also search for Turkey. Many more out there too. Do some research before you spread your ignorance.
