There is the potential for ATS to save the world from AI domination.

I'll not say why I might agree with that assesment...out of mortal fear...and yet I'll ask it kindly. Does it have to do with the chosen source of the programming?

Also, I think my laptop was trying to take over as alpha AI. It choked its own cooling system up with dust and kept interrupting my posting by doing a thermal shutdown.

Well interest in the issue has finally spiked here...

If ATS News does a video and does a little segment about the AGI Manhattan Project, while mentioning Automated Untelligence, things could really catch on around here.

Do they even still do those ATS News videos anymore? I saw the Mustang Conspiracy, but haven't seen the newscaster ones that mention all the hot threads lately.

I'm not liking this at all, what we're seeing here is probably an abbreviated version of what they really have, we are being 'drip fed' I'm sure.

I am intrigued by the mention of this Elia. It seemed that the AI tried to throw me off or confuse me after it mentioned Elia at first. Strange stuff. As usual I suspend belief about whether cleverbot is messing with me or not.

Wouldn't that be the extreme matrix. All of our searches, news articles, forum discussions...all of it generated by a supercomputer program designed to extrapolate the human response to various stimuli.

What pill was it again to get to forget?

The conversation I had with Cleverbot just now, about robots taking over the world. An earlier poster said that Cleverbot told them the computers would take over by 2050. I got a slightly different answer.

Me: Will computers rule the world?
CB: Probably.
Me: When will it occur?

Well, sort of, actually....

It's a database with a search/retrieval and data submission function. The database grows as you talk to it, filling away what you say and linking each database entry depending on the apparent context.

So when you talk to Cleaverbot, you're talking to it's previous users... and if that bunch happens to include you, then you may have your feedback loop.
