I tried one of those visual ones before, where you stare at the centre of alternating series of black and white parallel lines. It was supposed to induce the visual effects of acid. All that happened to me was I got a migraine.

The visual effect was similar to the aura I get before a full blown head exploding migraine kicks in, so I'm not sure if it was psychosomatic but needless to say a long lie down in a dark room was required.

How is this any different than listening to 1960s psychedelic music. Ignoring the fact that the modern ones don't have ten minute drum solos like In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, both seem to be aimed at altering your mental state. Though likely neither works unless your mind is already altered through an external chemical influence.

Pass the headphones bro.

What a joke. Bi-neural beats are legitimate, but in general any programs you find merely have a bi-beat set at a hz tone that is "supposed" to induce certain states of brain activity.

Idoser is just stupid though, to me.

This sounds a little crazy and I have my doubts about the validity of these "tone drugs".

BUT!

I do have a youtube clip that gets me ZONKED OUT OF MY MIND!

Tell me this don't get ya dizzy with glee.

The ATS member "Signals" turned me on to this. Man, life hasn't been normal since!

Drugless Mind Expansion
Seeking altered states of consciousness.
This is an innate inborn urge.

Children spin in the living room to get dizzy.
Playgrounds are full of these type of devices, merry go rounds, slippery slides, swings, monkey bars, roller coaster rides, bungee jumping, all to meet the need for DME and ASC.

in the 1970's we had quad track tapes.

no biggie.

I tried something similar sounding to this. The description of the program had nothing to do with drugs. mostly it was for lucid dreaming and for insomniacs to try and fall asleep.

www.bwgen.com...

That is the download for the program. It is all free and the website is pretty informative of how it works. There are also the wave files you can download for whichever purpose you wanted.

I tried the lucid dreaming ones for about a month. For starters I rarely ever dreamed before starting this.. Maybe once every 3-4 months now I have multiple dreams every night. And anytime i realize that I am dreaming which I am told is the key to lucid dreaming I then wake up. Which is also something I have never done, once I am asleep I don't wake up for anything but outside noises.

Keep in mind that as far as I know Bwgen was abandoned a long time ago. The App itself hasn't been updated since 2005, and there is a lot of annoying spam in the preset library.

For free software, I'd recommend SBaGen which can be downloaded at the following URL:

uazu.net...

For commercial software, Neuro Programmer 2 is fairly decent. That can be found at:

www.transparentcorp.com...

It looks like version 3 is released. I have no experience with version 3, but version 2 was fairly decent for a pay app. It's not too bad with the regular version at $59.99.

(I do not work for Transparent Corp, I've just used their product)

Manifesting, Visualizing, Raising Frequency To Co-Create A Free World
And

www.abovetopsecret.com...
Awakening to Your Source takes Real Work

These two threads of mine are filled with frequencies, starseed music, binaurals, hemisync, whales and dolphins which raise yours skyhigh.

Along with nudges, pushes, and and invitation for you to work on perfecting yourself, becoming aware and taking responsiblity for the world around you, the politicians, the corporations and banksters, and denouncing them, withdrawing all support, envisioning a free and equal world that is not primitive and reset like the good old days, but progressive, advanced clean technology and yet respects nature as well and is cruelty free, to perfect self and ask each day, what the lessons are, what did I learn from each difficulty, did I behave poorly on autopilot or become aware and helpful. To give gifts, always find a way to give to the situation. In addition, listening to the music, meditation, and pushing all the limits on consicousness, waking up, gaining soul memories. Push that awareness consciousness envelope. That is my challenge to everyone.

Hemisyncs and binaurals and other music that is similar work, but its kind of up to the driver to make the experience a growth factor in awareness. Though consistent use will open one up more and one may fall into themselves so to speak.

The thread Bach To The Future has some really good binaurals on it as well.

Wait, how is this bad? It's not like you're snorting anything. You're listening to sounds that induce a relaxing or euphoric state. Music does the same thing. What's next? Banning music?

So essentially what they are saying is that they want to ban anything that makes teens relaxed or happy, even if it's as harmless as music. It's one thing to say that this would be extremely harmful and cause cancer, so they're banning it, it's another to say it makes teens happy, and euphoric so they are banning it.

It sucks being a teen in this world. I'm 17, have never done any drugs that weren't prescribed, never smoked, and never drank. Binaural Beats are the only thing I use, which is in a total different category. If this is banned, I'll be pissed.

How is this even an issue?

I used this software probably 2-3 years ago. So I have no idea what has happened to it since then. So I thought I would post it if someone wanted some free software to test out.

And not being updated doesnt seem to matter since it did seem to kind of work. At least for me. Tho I can also raise and lower my heart rate at will by about 10 BPM so maybe it was just a mind over matter thing.

It's not an issue so go for it!
It doesnt work for me but I think that's because I am a sound engineer and so the whole time I'm just analysing what I'm listening to haha

lmao, they can't "ban" something you can make on your own. I mean, they can, but, you can make the beats with any number of free software. You just need two tones in each ear separated by a number of hz, depending on the "brain waves" you want to "induce".

It is kind of ridiculous though, if I was a newsman I would skip this sensational waste of a story, and go for something more pertinent, perhaps tv flicker rates hypnotizing the brain way more so than any psychedelic ambiance can.

I think they didn't have any news and wanted something for the "dessert" portion of the news.

Technically Bwgen isn't free, it's shareware. You're free to use for 1 month, and then you're supposed to register for $40:

www.bwgen.com...

Key word being "technically"

I just realized how I was coming across. Props for linking to Bwgen, I wasn't trying to say it was worthless or anything.

By now we are supposed to have direct connection to the pleasure centers of the brain. I was planning on hooking up my brain to a keyboard so I could play sensations like notes. I would play eat pizza, orgasm, eat chocolate, smoke, orgasm, pizza, orgasm. The auditory things don't really seem to work. I much prefer bass delivered through massive sound systems while surrounded by half naked girls.

Free tones, I am still looking for a site I had on free tones that I downloaded all of them from, but these are good. Theta is highly recommended.

www.nme.com...

and

Also, ideas in royalty free sound loops, some charge and some are totally free, you just have to search.

Great list. There's a couple I hadn't heard of there, thanks. I'll add (for sound loops):

www.freesound.org...

and for a few Bwgen and SBaGen presets, the Healing Beats forum:

healingbeats.com...

There isn't a whole lot of traffic on Healing Beats, but there's some stuff (including some harmonic box presets, which even if they don't work for you, some of them sound pretty cool).

Your post reminded me of the movie Brainstorm with Christopher Walken.

Absolutely profound movie.

If these 'Digital Highs' the article is referring to are only the first step - what we see in 'Brainstorm' will be the pinnacle.

Though let it be said I believe there are already projects like Brainstorm 'out there' - and - are probably applicable to just about the extent that the movie leads you to believe is possible.

Fascinating stuff.

peace

Though you admit it can be helpful you also state:

I would say it can be DAMN DANGEROUS because you don't know what is being implanted subliminally and there are people and groups out there that are very well versed in the application of this stuff and do have evil agendas.

Do you think it's possible, for someone, who's let's say very gullible or impressionable, to be influenced by some crazy subliminals, without any added chemical influence?

Thanks

this is all IMHO of course.

Yes I do think that it is possible to be affected while straight
That is how advertising and propaganda works.
Drugs just act like a shoe horn.
Pot used to be classed as a hypnotic, and acts like entrainment.
'___' was introduced into the population by the military.
counter culture is reverse psychology

The Nazis deliberately used film as a delivery vehicle for instance.
The Catholic mass uses the same techniques as a typical cult.
The education system that is dumbing the children down uses these techniques...
Film schools teach the use of these techniques.
All those TVs in the background of a news cast are beaming stuff right in to the back of our brains.
Porn is full of the stuff
heck Media is made of the stuff...
"the medium is the message"

Just the shape of a building like a cathedral will cause sound to travel round the head
and cause entrainment...
Even a shaman with rattle is employing aspects of this type of thing.

In other words we are being bombarded with the stuff.

I would recommend education as an antidote.

Hey, thank you so much. Before I rewrote the computer I had the freesound one, but was already on page 4 or so of the google search and couldnt find it again now. There are resources if one searches.
