I maybe the only person in this discussion to have actually met Glenn Beck. Even though he was / is very busy he gave my wife, daughter and I as much time as he could spare, 4 hours, to sit and talk with him about anything that came to mind. Think about sitting around and talking to your family, this was the environment of the discussion.

The thing that stuck out to me was his very straight forward honesty. He really believes in what he is saying. I was guarded as I have seen his show and have talked to other "opinion makers" and have to say that GB is different from the rest. Honest is the best description that I can make. There was so much that we talked about, without pretext or fanfare of the spotlight that I truly consider him as a true believer in what is just. The one thing that stuck with me after was just one thing that he said...

"You have no idea what has already happened, and no idea of what is to come. If you love your family it is time to pay attention how your country is being run, how the planet is being run, and be prepared because one day you might not have a safe place in it" - paraphrased.

Whatever your politics, I can tell you that the facts are there. Do not judge a person until you have met them face to face.

Great post, I don't necessarily agree with Beck on all things but he is putting out the message.

It's no use. I've been down this road on many threads about Beck. No need to argue or try to convert (same goes for GB haters) we can agree to disagree and take our info. wherever we get it, I think most of realize something is wrong. They love to see us when they "Divide & Conquer" S&F

I saw GB live in Idaho, in a small high school theater. His stage presence was overwhelming: Jeans, a black T-shirt, a stool, and a glass of water.

For over two hours he spoke quietly, humbly, and related all his topics to our local region and how the mountain west would be affected and how we could change our future locally.

IMHO I think people underestimate GB's beliefs, painting him onto the corner of what he says on the radio or TV. My gut tells me that one on one, he probably believes alot of the conspiracy/illuminati things that alot of us do.

Fact is, if he was preching NWO! Illuminati! Conspeeeeeracies! from the get go, he would have never ever lasted. I believe he chooses his battles in order to try to get some of the message out there. In fact, if you listen to him in the last year or so, without saying any of the buzzwords, he's attacking the Illuminati gameplans, trying to get people to stand up against the loss of their liberties.

I hear people attack him all the time...Granted he is very much evolving in his focus, and some may dismiss him from experiences in the past. But nowadays, GB is trying to create patriots that will defend the Constitution, not dittoheads that follow anything blindly.

i've been watching this glenn beck show this evening....

he makes his living getting $$$$$ by condemning and ridiculing the same actions and behaviors he himself endorses on his show.

what he burns calories doing is exactly what he burns calories condemning.

is himself is incapable of performing what it is he himself claims he endorses.


in the first 10 minutes of his show he sarcastically repremands and puts down someone for saying something he himself said *ON TAPE less than a month ago.

i predict the longer you rely on glen beck for a source of information...
the dizzier you are going to get assigning blame to more and more and more and more....

if he himself cannot abide by the words he does preach
how stupid would i have to be to follow his idea of "teach"

The Beck haters only hate Beck because he's on Fox News. Did anyone cry about Beck when he was on CNN-HLN? I don't agree with everything he says. I do think he's sincere in what he believes and says on tv/radio. Never in the history of MSM has there been someone like Beck out there. Before the Obama administration took over the White House Glenn Beck would have been considered a crazy nut job conspiracy theorist. Even CNN wouldn't let him lay it all out on the table. Fox News is giving him that freedom even though they are a MSM network. Fact is Beck leans more conservative and Fox News is conservative. And he's pulling in the ratings at 5pm. Fox News would be stupid to shut him up now. Rupert Murdock is probably thinking, "I don't care what he says. The plan will still go forward and he's making me the money."

Point is, just because Beck works for a MSM network doesn't make him a tool in their plan to spread disinfo. Think of TruTV and Jesse Ventura's "Conspiracy Theory" show. TruTV is owned by CNN/Time Warner.... Are they not part of the MSM/NWO scheme?

Instead of supporting the guy who is turning people to the constitution on a daily basis, many ATS'ers are cutting him down. Look at the bigger picture and see that GB is bringing more people to educate themselves on the history of this nation and what the constitution limits our Federal Government to.

I don't think people hate Beck simply because he's on FOX...they don't like him because he's insincere and 99% of what he says is totally blown out of proportion or taken to the most ridiculous extremes...or simply untrue.
