Al Qaeda's Afghanistan Chief Is Killed

Al Qaeda's top leader in Afghanistan has died, according to reports.
Site, a group that monitors Islamist websites, says Mustafa Abu al-Yazid was killed along with several members of his family.
Yazid was a close associate of terror chief Osama bin Laden and is thought to have helped fund several of the 9/11 hijackers.

Some good news for a change, Afghanistans Al-Qaeda top leader has been killed. It's comforting to know that these warped chiefs are getting their come uppances. Mustafa was involved with the assasination of the Egyptian President back in 1982 and Benazir Bhutto in recent years. He was believed to have been the terrorist networks financial mastermind and had close relations with Osama Bin Laden. His most notorious act was financing Mohammed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi and Wal al-Shehri who were responsible for the 9/11 attacks in New York. Something that comes to mind though is how will the Al-Qaeda react to this? They tend to fight back harshly upon losing a valuable member of their network.

Well said.... ordinary muslims are NOT extremists, its the wahabis that are. Saudi Arabia is a Wahabi state, and thats where bin Laden's from; thousands of saudis go to afghanistan and pakistan each year to join the taliban and al qaeda
