I just felt a significant earthquake in San Diego, strongest I've felt for years. Lasted at least 30-40s seconds, much longer than many others.

USGS automated systems say it was a 6.9 in extreme upper Baja California.

Tecate probably got nailed.

Lasted for quite a bit. I was a few hours north of San Diego visiting when it hit. Wonder what the damages were in Mexico, just some dizzy folk and freaked out cats here.

Living on Camp Pendleton and wasn't a whole lot. Just everyone coming out of their rooms wondering what's going on.

Its very close to Mexicali which is a large city build out of shanty materials. I have been there many times, calling some friends right now but phone calls aren't going through.
