I read your links first time round. For the avoidance of any doubt, I've now read them a second time. And thanks for the Rense article too, interesting reading.

Addressing the thread ... that Gordon Brown is allegedly a paedo ... (and don't for one minute try widening this one to encompass other matters ... address this particular allegation).

The substance of the allegation boils down to a supposed conversation in 1986 between the man making the allegation, Mike James, and then Treasury Minister Norman Lamont. I'm not repeating the allegation here, if others are sufficiently curious they can read the links themselves.

Incidentally, 1986 is ten whole years before Dunblane. Did you even bother to check that before starting the thread ?

Anyway, that's all this allegation about Gordon Brown amounts to, a supposed conversation 24 years ago of which we have only this man's testimony as proof. He's provided nothing else of any kind whatever.

No evidence of any kind whatever ... I'm repeating that to get it in your brain.

That isn't good enough for me to go on, if it's good enough for you then more fool you.

But we don't know what you think, do we ? You hide behind the relative anonymity of the internet to repeat these disgusting allegations. Mm, that's fair (not).

The responsible thing to have done, assuming you honestly think there's any truth to the allegation, was to get in touch with the Procurator Fiscal's office in Kirkcaldy, pass them this "evidence" and see if it flies.

Jimmyx, I agree.

It seems to me that some people can invent stories and accusations from whimsical coincidence and prejudiced assumption. The problem politicians, celebrities and others have is that if they take action against smut peddlers like www.thetruthseeker.co.uk... they give succour to these people and it becomes as self fulfilling prophesy – bad press. This website is just full of the bile against anyone in authority.

I am sorry, but I find website who churn out such utter nonsense revolting. It insults common decency. I find the people who actually believe some of these stories as too gullible for words.

Couldn't agree more. I'm sick of hearing about all this nonsense with "higer ups" being above the law. Well I'd prefer to put em all in a line and save on the bullets. Some things just in life you just don't do, and hurting kids is one of em.

I don't care what their religious practices are. It's things like pedophilia, child torture, (insert cruelty here) towards children that are completely unacceptable. People like that need to burn.

i'm not sure what you're on about, but you appear to represent others.

if you choose to be insulted, so be it. i stand by what i wrote.

it's obvious to me that most western leaders are warmongers or support the corporate political cartel and its many illegal wars. so it does not leave much room for decency, either killing, maiming, pedophilia or everything in between.

Not to mention the police themselves. I would bet many high level police are into this sick stuff. Unfortunately, the elites just get more and more powerful and perverted, yet face no consequences. And before anyone gets in and says "Yeah, well, have YOU dealt with anyone that has gone through that # TerribleTeam2???", the answer is a resounding YES. My fiancee was abused as a child, and even though it was almost 15 years ago when it happened, she still has nightmares, and has times when even those that love her can't even go near her.

Seriously, those that try to cover for paedophiles are just as bad as the paedophiles themselves. The only thing that gives anyone solace about it, is that fact that if the paedo's are charged, convicted and sent to prison, they will be seriously effed up beyond despair. But even that isn't justice for kids that have been abused.

Edit - Just another thing too, as was quoted by another member, there are laws in place to get justice from such accustions, so even if the accused is Innocent, they have recourse to defend themselves in a court of law, and also receive compensation for it.

And yes, I am aware that once branded a Paedophile, always branded one, but at the end of the day, I would prefer to have children safe and sound, and not being threatened by these disgusting "people".

At the end of the day, an Adult can make informed decisions, and look after themselves, but children, children need an Adults protection, love, and guidance to grow up and learn in this effed up world.

Everyone's got a purpose when making efforts , mine was that i'm sick of these kind of posts , stating nothing but own opinions , words written under frustration of not being able of making a point, and felling powerless and maybe even useless and trying to discredit others , you should just write down your thoughts and that's it, let others rate your words and the way you arrange them in a phrase , that's why the post voting system exists.

This is just sickening to the point I don't even want to read this thread. Literally I feel sick to my stomach right now...

Let me just add this to the list of things that NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT (which by the way is pretty damn long at this point in time).

And don't bother saying "Well what are you doing to stop this?" I'm doing nothing, because if I even bothered to get deep into finding the truths of these allegations I'd just be killed. We need militias to come forth and do something now! I for one would not stand for any sort of rape/torture of any child, let alone any human being or animal.
