Disclaimer: I'm a white anglo saxon decended Australian citizen and I'm an unabashed Chinaphile!

Explanation: Lets all go Chinese EARLY OK!

Seriously....Let us in the west weigh up the current SitX and make an OPEN decission to either fully join with the east or stop fiddling around and declare open warfare, as anything else is just half arsed squimishness and ignorant stupidity.

I've KNOWN for over 20yrs that China was the future and NOW its coming true!

1] Without China's last 20yrs+ economic growth and relative robustness [Thanks Deng! I'm sorry you had to break some egg heads to bake that great cake!
] ....We'd ALL BE
[expletive deleted by author] !!!

2] China's space program will soon meet and then overtake the entire rest of the worlds space capabilities and we all know that the moon is the high ground!

NASA is defunct and the Russians will extort their revenge on the US via upping the travel costs and fees for ferrying the NASAnots into space to the ISS which will soon sold off by the US as a useless financial blackhole!

3] We all borrow from China and they have been MORE than generous!

Australia's recent debarkle with BHP [Where is Hu?
Kev was and is total KRudd on that BS!] was basically because we wouldn't do them mates rates when they were helping us out of the world's massive financial toilet flushing of $$$'s.

:shk: EPIC FAIL Australia!

So lets go with the inevidable flow of the future and VOTE 1 China in your next elections.

Personal Disclosure:
I have a myriad of other reasons but I'll let the flaming zombie trolls take there swipe at me and boost this threads rank!
Go Trollz!

P.S. And don't worry about a possible V1C party winning as China would have to either accept it and deal with it OR reject it and send a very public message along the lines of "WE DON'T NEED OR WANT YOU! But Thanks for the KowTowing as its nice to be RESPECTED!"

Anybody needing some proof that the Aussies are already a Chinese state by default needs to check out this ATS thread : ABC dismisses 'ludicrous' China pressure claims.

Remember I asked where is Mr Hu? I haven't heard about him or the other imprisoned BHP staff, on any Aussie MSM , least of all the ABC, for months now! All because we do business over a beer and they took that as a bribe attempt! :shk:

Wake Up & Harden Up Australia and its western allies! Go
China EARLY and Vote 1 China! You Know It Makes Sense!

Note: I know I'd be the 1st agains't the wall regardless of either outcome and I DON'T CARE!

Edited spelling Fail! Soz me a
sigh!

Technically China already owns exclusive rights to the collective asses of many nations, no need to rush things along, in time they will own even your ass outright.

Explanation: They have obviously got me wrapped around their little finger as I'm the sycophant pushing this thread and so regardless of $'s I'm already pwned by them by default!

Now you make a point that the default SitX is that they have already pwned us financially and all I'm saying is lets OPENLY and PUBLICLY pay those debts and with a smile!

Its like a bandaid. Do we rip it off quickly and get the crazy pain song and dance all over quickly or do we drag the suffering out to all our mutual downfall?

Personal Disclosure: I would love to hear from any Chinese ATS members [if any?
Oi! Can you guys hear me on that side of your GREAT Dragon FireWall?] on this issue.

Edited spelling Fail!

Well first off the US and the Rest of the Western Countries wouldn't stand idly by.

Before you know it war would break out somewhere in the middle east most likely between Iran and Israel

Explanation: I'm quite well aware that those western countries and allies would be highly concerned but I'm talking about doing it legally.

1] Register a V1C party and run along the lines of "If we win we'll be a [autonomous? hopefully] state of China just like Hong Kong etc!"

2] This will give the countries allies and neighbours time to voice their opinion as regards to feelings and consequences ect.

3] Since it is being done in a democratic way the UN charter would protect the outcome and as signatories to the UN the US ect. would have to comply!

Personal Disclosure: Middle East Conflict huh?
I hear rabbits running for their conspiratorially deep rabbit holes! Why Fear China???

Edited to fix bold fail which is not mine [WTH?]..can't fix..soz

I don't fear China. I do think you're a few decades off in your assessment though. Here is an interesting perspective.

Enjoy.

U.S.-China Friction: Why Neither Side Can Afford a Split

But while many Chinese take delight in America's plight and would like to end the close embrace that has brought China such prosperity over the past two decades, they are falling prey to delusions of grandeur. The fact remains that as much as China may want to go it alone, it cannot. (See pictures of the global financial crisis.)

To begin with, it holds more than $1 trillion in U.S. assets, mainly in U.S. Treasuries. No other country or entity in the world could absorb those assets if China wanted to sell them, and with China's currency value pegged to the dollar, any massive sale would lead to a steep decline in the Chinese currency and economy. China's holding of U.S. debt is leverage only in a theoretical world where it could dump its U.S. assets or stop buying more. What's more, even a hobbled America is the world's largest economy and the most significant market for Chinese goods. In 2009, a supposedly bad year, Chinese exports to the U.S. were approximately $300 billion, about the same as in 2007. That is a vast source of income for China — and one that no other part of the world can provide.

The U.S., meanwhile, has been a source of billions of dollars in direct investment in China, from thousands of American companies big and small. While it's true that China doesn't need any one of these companies as much as each one needs China, China needs all of them and depends on them for everything from brand-name goods to know-how and capital. Beijing can't just snap its fingers and go it alone; its domestic economy is far too entwined with that of the U.S., its companies, its capital and its consumers.

Explanation: Yes! And I note that he has been bowing to various countries leaders shamelessly and wantonly. 1 more KowTow towards those that really matter is all it takes!

Are you sure he's going to save you?

Personal Disclosure: Seems to me he's $elling the US out all over the place!
And mainly to China!

China is Japan on STEROIDS!

For Japan its asset price bubble collapsed gradually between 1991 and 2000 and further in 2008 in what is called the Lost Decade for Japan. For Japan it started with an asset bubble beginning in the 1980's.

But for China the bubble started in the late 1990s and its economic collapse started in 2008. The current Chinese economic stimulus has delayed the collapse only temporarily.

Explanation: You bring up an excellent point! St*r for you!

There was a recent thread on ATS covering exactly that ....

Chinese economic collapse, 'Dubia times 1,000' [ATS]

Personal Disclosure: Sure the finances and the $$$'s will need rejigging, but when the WHOLE freaking UNIVERSE is on offer...well investors already have illegally bought stuff on the moon ect. How much more so when the Chinese can get us there?

P.S. You don't need $'s when you are the openly chosen NWO! You just need products and services to keep the people happy as who are you going to charge??? Not yourself surely!

Explanation: OK as the US is just waking up and I feel this thread deserves a shameless bump to get their attention!

I just noticed another ATS Thread and how it is relevent to this Thread.

Submarine Arms Race in the Pacific. [ATS]

See if we Voted 1 China then we wouldn't need to spend gazillions of $$$'s on that BS and we could spend the entire worlds current defence budget on something FAR MORE WORTHY...like fusion power stations ect.

How many hospitals and schools would that build?

Wouldn't we all prefer to spend those $'s that just kill people on something far more noble?

Personal Disclosure: There is also a myriad of other economic GOOD reasons to Go China EARLY! Like import export tarrifs for example!
China also shoots bad CEO's in the head when they stuff up! Maddof would be toast already!

The army has most of china in their pockets already. The bed that I am typing on is an example of the deals that the U.S does with china and is breaking apart after several months of use but that will be a thread for another day. $&F for the ownage that is to come from china.

I used to be somewhat of a China-sympathizer - but I've changed - I saw a documentry on ABC2 last night about Chinese & Cars - and unless there is a massive government crack down on consumerism and macro-freemarketism or a huge consciousness-awakening - the whole world is going to fail epically.

Its not just China to blame though, but as it stands now, 1.3 billion people want to be living in Western-style consumeristic decay - and they are rushing head-long into it at phenomenal speeds.

It shouldn't be done, and we are to blame just as much as they.

Vote 1 Greens OK!

We don't need to be so binary - with them, or against them.

Its this kind of thinking that permeates almost all, and is the reason for humanities gradual destruction.

Disclaimer: I got some information WRONG in my OP!
I apologize for this lack of oversight!
Stern Hu worked for Rio Tinto and not BHP.

Explanation: St*r for you!

Look I know China is no saint OK!

And I did vote the Greens in the last local elections [OL is in Canberra ACT] even though I was a long term commited Labour voter!

Also money and economy is an idea cooked up by humanity and we can and do change and tweak it as we see fit! Lets write OFF Greeces debt ect.
Lets give China ALL our trade secrets so they don't have to steal them!
Lets become full allies of China so they and we can spend our military budgets on protecting ourselves from extra terrestrial aliens as Stephen Hawking just reminded us all of!

Personal Disclosure: Australia is already both for and against China [in various contexts] and this isn't ever going to change, but the various biases one way or the other just may if a majority of us can see them as our fellowhuman brothers and sisters instead of some kind of yellow peril!

My grandmother was Chinese, but a British citizen, she lived in Hong Kong and my mother grew up there. It is truly an amazing country and what they have done since the 1970s is nothing short of incredible, but before we all pull out our Little Red Books and repeat after Mao, let's take a step back here OP.

Now I'll be the first to say that I am proud of my Chinese heritage (we can trace our family lines back to the Warring States Period,) minus the stuff that Chairman Mao did. I'm a socialist, dyed in the wool true believer in it, but in all honesty that is one man that never ever should have lead the Middle Kingdom. He might have had the best of intentions, but he ended up with a higher body count than Hitler and Stalin.

What we have currently in China today is the evolution of Mao's Communist Peoples' Republic, and I think I'd want to see that become reformed. The current symbiotic relationship that China has with the world is good, for now. However I also do not believe that any country should have to ever give up their cultural heritage, and getting into lock-step with the PROC would do that to us. This cultural identity also can extend to political institutions as well. Here in the United Kingdom, we'll give up our royalty when we are bloody ready to, not a moment before. The United States will offer up their Bill Of Rights from their cold, dead fingers, and good luck trying to get the French, Russians or Islamic world to ever turn their back on what makes them, well them.

If the 2000's really are China's century and their culture becomes as pervasive as America's was in the 1900s or Great Britain's in the 1800s, so be it, but that is the world's choice to accept, and just as any cultural shift, China will have to meet us half way.

That's just the way it works.
