I found this video recently and thought it was a pretty straight forward interpretation of we as humans and our connection to Monkeys/Apes.

I know this is a pretty divided subject but I thought it was a nice view on a specific theory. Although I don't agree with all of the analogies made in the video I can agree with some of it.

What do you all think?

i'd say we're more like monkey+
not to say that there isnt something special about a self-reflecting mind, but just that its pretty much that enhanced sense of self and information exchange that adds the +

Sounds like a disempowerment video by someone who can't get it up.
As I've stated before, humans (well, most, or, some..) are awesome because we can imitate other animals and insects with near perfection. Monkeys? Somewhat, yes! A large % of DNA is shared by many on Earth..

Some people look more like monkeys than others, but intelligence remains something to be nutured equally by all. Compassion too, can't forget that..

Humans are great apes. I like my chimp cousins, but gorillas just nudge ahead in what family member i prefer.

A creationist are you (to the creator of the video)?? The problem is that we are NOT MONKEYS!! We are primates and at the very least, apes. AND apes share the same characteristics as humans, love, hate, they murder over ownership, they get jealous....
