Good for the Iranians! I hope they bring it. And I hope we as a country i.e. the US and other countries i.e. the UK get their ass walloped. It's the only thing that will make us as a people and a society realize we can't continue down this path of constant war. Leave the middle east alone and focus on our damn country. I just watched as my tyrannical corrupt government stole from me in the form of taxes almost $900 out of my #ing paycheck! So # my government.

I have to agree with you, it won't be long.

Fortunately, I am not working now until the New Year so I can scour the News and keep Fox on the box all day long.

Come on Israel, smack em one! God is on our side!!

According to Juan Cole, a University of Michigan Professor of Modern Middle East and South Asian History, Ahmadinejad's statement should be translated as: The Imam said that this regime occupying Jerusalem (een rezhim-e eshghalgar-e qods) must [vanish from] the page of time (bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad)

I see what you are trying to say, but in reality the "regime" occupying Jerusalem IS Israel, so that was accurate.

Further, for something to "vanish from the page of time", they would have to be removed entirely from the present. Hence, no longer becoming a page in history, also considered a relaying of TIME past.

Again, "wiping Israel off the map" is perhaps a "slang" version of removing Israel from the page of time.

One certainly can not remove a "regime" from time without getting rid of them completely.

I beleive this is all bluster and media spin by the elite to keep us occuppied and afraid of WW3 while the world goes to hell in a handcart

They've tried to scare us with a nice pandemic, and that worked for a while

Alongside this they appear to be trying to scare the US with socialism, they appear to be trying to scare Europeans with Islam, and the list goes on...

In my opinion scared people tend to keep their heads down and their eyes off the ball, all the while the elite are playing find the lady and pocketing what little we have left

The main issue I have with this story is it is a reporter reporting on something said to a reporter for a Jewish news service I cannot spell. It's hearsay.

As for those accusing others of speculating: Do be aware that you are speculating as well. You don't know what will happen anymore than anyone else here does. All pots please stop whining at kettles. Thanks.

Not gonna happen...
I would bet cold hard cash Israeli forces know right where Iran's Rahbare Moazzam is right at this very instant... Israel has the very best weapons available, they should, we sold em to them... they just blast his supreme holiness to Allah and let the student dissidents take over... Iraqi forces will be glad to lend a hand... they still remember a nasty eight year long war with their not so peace loving neighbour

The exact words don’t really matter. The point is quite obvious, Iran wants to destroy Israel. They have said so many times in many different ways. Not only have their government officials stated it, but their religious leaders have preached it for years.

Israel has just as legitimate a claim to the disputed areas as any other nation or people, and some would say better than most. Israel has never threatened to destroy any other ME nation.

So it comes down to simple matters. Iran stating that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, but gets caught with nuclear triggers, hiding their weaponization process, testing long-range missiles, and generally ignoring the hollow threats of the US and the UN. Israel simply states that it will not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons that it knows will be used against it. Israel has not threatened to exterminate Iran or to seek to overthrow its government, it has only one objective, defend itself from another me nation that is seeking the means to destroy it.

I have no doubt Israel will attack Iran's nuclear facilities, and I say shame on us for forcing them to do so. This is something the US should have done long ago. Alas we have become impotent and lack the courage or moral fiber to stand up for what is right and unilaterally make sure that Iran does not get the chance to produce or use wmds.

I'd hardly call a dozen or so "Guards" temporarily taking control of a defunct oil facility an attack. still, Seems foolish to do so.

The Iranians are not idiots. You think terrorism is bad now just wait till war breaks out with them. They have terrorists all over the world, no doubt about it.

China's Sinopec (0386.HK) has signed a tentative deal to provide financing of $6.5 billion for oil refinery projects in Iran, two Iranian news agencies reported on Wednesday.
If such an agreement goes ahead, it would provide Iran, the world's fifth-largest crude exporter, with much needed capital to help develop its all-important energy sector, which is under U.S. sanctions.

www.reuters.com...

Now read this
www.govtrack.us...

Apparently, worldwide there will be implications selling refined petroluem to Iran.

So what happens to China?
Read the bill
U.S. can no longer do business with China?

Also Section 2 of HR 2194 is the United States clearly doing a violation of the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty.

So who really is violating the NPT here?

Oh just stop it already... Your ignorance in real life modern military capabilities is mind numbing...

and to those of you saying Israel is just waiting for fly over permission your very wrong... they dont need it and if they wanted too it would all be over this afternoon...

Let me give you a quick lesson on the 21 century...

Israel Has three Dolphin class submarines...
Dolphin - May 1998
Leviathan - 1999
Tekumah (trans. "Revival") - 2000

Armament
Each submarine is armed with 6 x 21-inch (533 mm) torpedo tubes, which are also capable of firing Sub-Harpoon missiles, and 4 x 25.5-inch (648 mm) torpedo tubes. The submarines are also able to deploy mines.

It is believed that the four larger 25.5-inch (648 mm) torpedo tubes are capable of launching nuclear-armed Popeye Turbo cruise missiles (a variant of the Popeye/AGM-142 Have Nap standoff missile) with a range of up to 1,500 kilometres (930 mi),[5] which would offer Israel a second strike capability.[2] The larger torpedo tubes can also launch underwater swimmer delivery vehicles.[6]

Source

Really now... if push comes to shove...Israel would leave Iran nothing but a big smoking hole with the turn of two keys... the rest of the middle east would fear reprisals from Israel if they objected, frankly that fear is what keeps them from teaming up and making a unified stand
