Pelosi Breaks Pledge to Put Final Health Care Bill Online for 72 Hours Before Vote

www.weeklystandard.com

Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD that the speaker will not allow the final language of the health care to be posted online for 72 hours before bringing the bill to a vote on the House floor, despite her September 24 statement that she was "absolutely" committed to doing so.

Well here she does it again...Crazy Eyes Pelosi not keeping her word. When will we all wake up and realise that we no longer have a government that truly acts in the publics best interest? I also remember that President Obama promised us that federal funds from this health care bill would not go to fund abortions...lol...surprise surprise! Thats exactly what some of these funds will do...fund abortions. We are being lied to over and over and over again and if there is one thing we all can do, its scream from the roof tops (not literally) that change has to happen, not the kind of change that favors the special interests...such as the exemption for labor unions from the new stipulations in the health care bill that our dear Miss Pelosi and President Obama are about to deliver to us.
God help us all in these days ahead...

Not surprised.

And on the other note, I hate to be the one to inform you but US taxpayers already fund a good number of abortions anyways. In some cases your tax dollars also pay for their transportation to and from the clinic as well. And some of those rides are quite a distance and pass many abortion clinics to go to the one that the patient chooses to have the procedure done.

Whachu talking bout Willis?

Pelosi unveiled the House version of the bill several days ago.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

You can download it and read it here (warning 1990 pages big pdf).

What they are referring to is the final version being posted, which is still being negotiated. Is that really enough of a reason to bash her? Of coarse it is, if you are a right wing extremist.

Give them an inch and they want a mile.

Honestly even putting it online for 24 hours won't do much, the thing is thousands of pages in length I doubt anyone would actually read it...including the people who will vote for it.

We need legislation reform not healthcare reform. Any legislation that is over 20 pages long, wreaks of governmental control.

Oh, you want the final, final version of the bill. OK I guess you like to wait and read the whole thing in one sitting. That bill will be out after the final bill and before the really really final bill.

Didn't you know that the Progressives are so much smarter and more benevolent than the rest of us, so they don't see why we would want to read it.

Truth is, does it matter if we read it. They are going to shove this pile of ... down our throats whether we like it or not. Then they will just say let them eat cake.

I wonder if Pelosi and Obama know what happened during the French Revolution?

Open wide Americans, Pelosi has something to shove down your throats and you're not even going to have an opportunity to taste it first.

The government will grow so massive in the next few years that you will have to buy credits for each square of toilet paper you use, But only if you have submitted all the proper forms ahead of time and have permission to use paper for wiping. All those without permission and proper credits will be taxed at the rate of $1 per square of toilet paper.

Toilet paper will be made free to all of those who cannot pay.

The above also can illustrate how health care reform will work.

Up next... Energy reform... hold your breath, the carbon you exhale is going to be very expensive.

I forget, has Nancy Pelosi ever done anything she publically proclaimed she would do? From the state that thinks that hollywood actors make terrific govenors comes this duplicitous, power-hungry b***h. It is my understanding that her operatives are now directing the tidal wave of phone calls demanding a public option in the health care reform bill into an answering machine. Who wants to bet Nancy will never listen to a single message? Ah Democrats! The lap dogs to the Republicans who are the lap dogs to the obscenely rich.

What's the point. How many people are going to be able to read the full 2000 pages of the bill?

It's a farce and no one should vote for this. I want health care fixed...but there is no reason it should take TWO THOUSAND PAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think any of the crooks in Congress are actually going to read it???

And why not get the "final, final, final, final bill"? I guess by your way of thinking, a draft copy written on the back of a piece of scrap paper is OK.

That's ok. Fox News has an incredible speed reader.
His name is Howard Berg.
I saw him on TV. He already read the 2,000 page bill.
Here's the summary: -Financial Disaster -

Have you looked at the pages? There are only like 20 lines in big print to each page. Shouldn't take much longer to read than a good book. And people should read it, as most of what it said about it is completely inaccurate.

That is sweet! Good laugh!!!

Really though. This should be the straw that breaks the Camel's back for us!

If this doesn't do it, What Is It Going To Take?????

I am done waiting for most of these clueless idiots that have no backbone and believe what MSM tells them. It is already too late for much of the crap they have pulled.
Okay, I got it, lets just lay down with our keys in our hands so they won't have to fumble around to find them, just to make it easier to rape and pillage all of us.

It has been the plan all along; To destroy our country within!

What happened in TX today?! Hmm.

A good plan to march to town and remove all of these criminals that think they are above the law and our constitution, and I am In!

Funny you should mention that.
There is a lawyer on Fox News.
Her name Greta Van Susteren. Her show is On The Record.
On a number of occasions she has held up a few pages of the 2,000
page PelosiCare bill. She says "I am a lawyer. I don't know what
this means!"

Maybe that's why Greta is on TV instead of actually practicing law.
Honestly, you crack me up.
Do you do anything but watch FOX news?

She actually read it out loud and held it up to the TV.
Another lawyer was sitting next to her.
Both of them were confused and laughing.
What is this?

Well that PROVES your point!
Sounds like two lawyers propagandizing on FOX news.
In other words, it's....FOX news.
