People are paid to post??

I did a search on google with the term "paid to post" and I couldn't believe how
many sites there are offering people money to post in forums.

The concept is easy: The more you post, the more you get paid. How it Works. Revenues are paid utilizing Google Adsense.

One of the underlying themes is that the post must be approve by TPTB before
they will get paid for the post.

WTF.

There should be some kind of disclosure statement, like

PLEASE BE AWARE, MANY OF THESE SHILLS ARE BEING PAID TO POST.

I wonder how many on ATS get paid to post.

The number would be in the hundreds being paid to post, all you need to do is browse and post on ATS while at work and bingo paid to post.

The possibility exists that external companies may be paying people to post on ATS, however, ATS does not pay anyone to post. From time to time, we will pay for premium content, but it's always clearly identified as such.

I am here attempting to make people aware that our government doesn't serve the people any more, it serves itself.

It angers me that people would even offer people money to post.

I've been paid to post on other blogs, like scientificblogging.com, I didn't intend for it to happen.
One day a new window just popped up and said the amounts I could be paid for each of my articles, i picked the one with the highest number and processed it to see what would happen.
I got paid.
Once.
$1.36 US.
Doesn't that make me a professional writer?

However, I didn't know about sites that seek this out, now that I do, I'll check them out. Because I can blather on and on....

Did you even bother to read any of the links you just posted, for example:

People CAN get paid by advertisers if they own a high traffic site allowing lots of advertising hits, but that is the only way you get paid to post. ATS in fact gets paid in such a way. The only way that a casual poster on ATS is going to get paid is if their post gets used by someone who is willing to pay money for the rights to quote it.

I doubt the ptb would ever pay me for my posts lol.

Don't think it is about lies, its more like traffic to the site.

There should be some form of regulation on it if so, but then who really needs more red tape?

You would think that some folks would realize that there are people out there of differing opinions who don’t have to be paid to hold those views… I know what an ego shock that is to many the believer of said theory, but it really is true.

If everyone in the world had the same opinion on everything, what a boring world it would be.
