Perhaps I am missing something here but I have to ask , and please forgive me for doing so , but what good will come from an attack on Iran ?

It would seem to me that by not attacking we keep Iran in check . The fact alone that Iran is doing everything they can think of to provoke an attack is reason enough not to attack .
Once we attack then we give Iran the reasons they are looking for to do all of the things they want to do .

Sorry my friend, but the US of A is the worlds largest international terrorist. Running two illegal wars that were never run by congress and we're working on a third. We have more nukes than any other country, yet we go around telling everyone that we're the only ones allowed to have nuclear power. Our "free press" is owned by about 5 companies that make sure nothing they don't want out gets out. How can we police the world when we're one of the criminals? But that's ok as long as we keeping bringing "democracy" via rifles and explosives from the sky, right? Ever wonder why we bring them democracy( see: mob rule) instead of a democratic republic like we supposedly have?

Is it by Yours, mine or theirs.

Do we actually have a moral standard that we can use to judge others with. That we actually fallow our selves?

I'm from the United States of America whom resides in Canada. You say I'm anti American when that is false. America is the greatest nation on this planet. The problem I have with my country is the greatest country on this planet is harboring NWO/Dictators that spread war like the common cold. The Federal reserve is corrupt, Wallstreet is corrupt.
