As of 9/3 the following news outlets have been silent on the whole mess with the Green Jobs Czar..

Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the New York Times: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the Washington Post: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on NBC Nightly News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on ABC World News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on CBS Evening News: 0.

Very interesting...a few more words on this matter

If you were to receive all your news from any one of these outlets, or even all of them together, and you heard about some sort of controversy involving President Obama's Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, your response would be, "Huh?"

9/5/09 UPDATE: The New York Times, ABC and NBC hold the line After the Jones controversy reached a boiling point on Friday, the Washington Post published a story, "White House Says Little on Embattled Jones," on page A-3 of its Saturday edition. But the New York Times remained silent on the story. Likewise, on Friday night the "CBS Evening News" reported the Jones matter, but ABC's "World News" and "NBC Nightly News" again failed to report the story.

Here we see a perfect example of how the media only reports what they feel we need to know...or what they are allowed to report. With the freedom of the Internet hanging in the balance, our access to truth could be gone. CNN was pretty quiet about the whole thing too until GB broke this story all over the place.

Gee, I wonder why they are saying so little.

This is the first I've heard anything about the Green Jobs Czar. Your link doesn't say much either. What's the controversy? Anyone know?

Where do I start.

He has ties to Marxist groups, radical groups, called Bush a crackhead, Republicans A-holes and all sorts of nefarious things. There are a ton of threads on him all over ats. You could go to youtube and check out the many stories that Glenn Beck has done on this guy. He has said many inflammatory things about race as well.

Though I am not much of a fan of Fox news they are the primary source of information on this guy. Check out the link below for a plethora of stories about his radical connections, statements and contacts.

You beat me to it.

I never seem to do very well when trying to search this site so I headed for Fox since they have been the primary ones breaking all this.

What is so scary about this is that we here are fully aware that most of the US only listens to a 30 minute broadcast where they are fed short blurbs of info, and then only what they want us to hear.

This situation here is proof positive that many important things we need to know are kept from us. Imagine you had no cable or internet the things you would never hear, things you would never know. It really is very scary that something this serious gets no air time. My god the POTUS is surrounding himself with people with strong communist and socialist ideals but our primary news sources remain silent!!!!

Big brother anyone.....

Well thats why you guys should stop watching the FOX...

Ever stopped to think FOX - Beck gave you the concern you are posting upon.

Other stations are not reporting it cause the idea not NEWS, it is a CONCLUSION
fashioned out of some facts here and there.

Even though it is Fox News, they have directly quoted the exact words of Jones :

Nuggets such as:

"White Polluters"

January 2008

Van Jones: "The environmental justice community that said, 'Hey, wait a minute, you know, you're regulating, but you're not regulating equally.' And the white polluters and the white environmentalists are essentially steering poison into the people-of-color communities, because they don't have a racial justice frame."

See the video here.

As much as I don't like Fox or Glenn Beck, this guys words and former associations speak for themselves. Granted some of the things that are on these videos need to be taken in context with who he was speaking to, but it is inflammatory nonetheless.

This man is has millions of dollars at his disposal and with his ideas on things I can see why people are afraid. To have someone with such strong communist and socialist leanings so close to the POTUS is just not the change people were looking for. Not me anyways.

You're ... kidding... right?

Facts about Van Jones:

Is an admitted black nationalist and radical communist, from a 2005 interview -- and proud of it

9/11 Truther - form your own opinion

Beilieves "they" are poisoning illegal aliens (They being the White folk~)

Says "Only suburban white kids shoot up schools" (see Drudge right now)

Says, "We've never seen a Columbine done by a black child"(Again, on Drudge right now) - both Brietbart provided video sorces

Van Jones Oraganized "Free [Cop-Killer] Mumia" March in 1999

Called all members of the GoP a-holes, then apologized if he offended anyone, he did not apologize for saying it

Denied signing the 9/11 Truther petition (twice 2002, 2004), then when the organization stated all petitioners were spoken to on the phone or by mail to verify they did indeed sign it, the Whitehouse stated he didn't know what he was signing. Then, Van Jones issed a statement saying "I do not agree with this statement and it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever."

Compared GW Bush to a crackhead looking for a fix, along with an ebonic lively re-animation of his views

Cofounder of Color of Change 2005

Used a forum at a major youth convention to push for what can easily be interpreted as a communist or socialist agenda - think what you want about WND, that's your business, but they have links to the actual videos of him, this isn't someones' "opinion".

Now, I have by no means covered even half of what has been disclosed about Van Jones. Honestly there isn't enough time in my week to do so. However, if anyone wants to know more, the videos are freely available on YouTube (until they get scrubbed - but too late for that really).

Honestly, it didn't take Glen Beck or Fox to cause people to feel one way or another about Van Jones, it took him simply bringing it to the public since the MSM has, and continues, to fail miserably.

Now, anyone that allows any news organization to affect how they feel about something has a problem.

But it is their job - how soon we have forgotten - to vet these people, present the facts, and let the facts speak for themselves. So far Glen Beck is the only one with the cajones the do this. Where is the other media in this? Contnuing to be silent and complicit.

-Ever stopped to think FOX - Beck gave you the concern you are posting upon.-

I am simply stunned that you could have made that comment with a sincere tone, and no, I am not attacking you. I was shokced when I read it. I hope that people are simply not getting the facts, and thats truly what the problem is.

This guy is very anti-white, down with the man, and gives the essence of "making whitey pay" with his attitude and speech. He is the one that play the race card, over and over and over.

I didn't need Glen Beck to give me concerns, I had them before he ever started that show on Jones. But then, I look for information on my own, and I used many, many news sources to help form my opinions. But nothing - nothing can form an opinion faster than the proverbial words from the horses mouth.

And, as Glen beck asked, how did someone like this get past the FBI and be allowed into the Whitehouse with our *president*? Either it was a mistake, and the president is in danger, or - the president knows all about him, and is yet another of the radicals he has chosen to surround himself with.

Obama himself said, "Judge me by the people I surround myself with." Well, here you go. Just one more to add to the list. And the vetting on the other Czars has only just begun.

Truly, to me, frightening times when we have self admitted communists in the Whitehouse, and they are going to fly the red flag on September the 20th. I don't need anyone elses opinion here, but boy, do I sure have one of my own!

Don't shoot the messenger? Please?

The MSM isn't so silent now that Jones has resigned his post.

Go figure, what is comical is I have talked to many people that have no clue about this guy at all. The only thing they are emphasizing is the 9/11 stuff, which of course scares the bejesus out of the sheep.

I have been watching Glenn Beck the last couple of weeks and he's been showing clip's of Van Jones. The guy should be no where near the White house after what i saw. This is just the beginning!!
