My Boyfriend asked me to post this for him, as he doesn't have enough points to start a thread.

The fires in Los Angeles are threatening some of the Com towers supposedly operated by the FBI and CIA per the news.

After looking and comparing the location of the towers, and an orbiting satellite map of ECHELON, I have determined that these towers threatened are indeed part of their net work, and NOT operated by the CIA, but more probable that they are part of the NSA network.

I don't know what the code for this location might be, but given that this is probably the main artery for the eaves dropping network in Los Angeles, I'm not sure what might happen if this actually goes "offline" due to the fires...

Anyone care to discuss?

ECHELON is an AUSCANZUKUS operation, so I doubt the loss of these facilities will cause any serious damage to the overall signal intel network.

Are the cables that lead to these towers buried deep enough to
withstand the intense heat above them? Or maybe I'm still
living in the stone age and they're aren't any cables running
up to the towers anymore?

You can't start a thread untill you reach 20 posts. It's to stop spammers I guess.

Anyway, SigKill will take over this post.

Back on topic.
