Have you seen this poster?
Apparently, it's beginning to appear in odd places in Los Angeles, but nobody seems to know who's responsible for it.
Radio host Tammy Bruce posted some pictures of this odd creation at her blog Saturday morning (h/t Pamela Geller) leading me to investigate further.
At this point, all I could find on the subject was an April 25 article from Bedlam Magazine:
A poster of Barack Obama in Heath Ledger-style Joker make-up with the legend 'Socialism' beneath it has been popping up recently on surfaces around L.A. It does not appear to be in the same categ

It's just another part of the far right's strategy to fight the Obama administration, like the "birther" movement and the staged Town Hall disruptions.
Obama is no Socialist, he's a corporate capitalist, like just about every other American politician.
Which is OK by me, as I'm not much of a Socialist myself.
Really though, I have to wonder if any Democratic President would have been tagged with the same label - the far right is very organized and very skilled at manipulating people's emotions.
They know if you lie loudly and repeatedly enough, some people will believe it, especially if the lie meshes with their existing biases.

Looks like that fine sparkle of "hope" and "change" is starting to wear off and those that didn't see who BHO really was before are starting to and they don't like it....
I wonder if this will start a revolution or be quietly sweeped away, down played to give the appearance all is still great.

How quickly can those that have the BHO "Yes we can" bumper stickers begin scrapping them off their car(s)?? Think this is a sign of a grass roots revolt? Couple this with the recent town-hall protests, could the real "change" be coming??

Someone prints up some pictures and posts them in LA and you think it's going to start a revolution?

Well, ATS seems keen to assist
is anyone else as sick of the 'birther' threads as I am ?
The only compensation is waiting to see how many 'birth certificate' threads will be permitted to run on ATS simultaneously before someone finally realises that the overkill has KILLED intelligent people's interest in the matter, which has now become nothing more than a joke
Why do these people never .. never .. learn when to stop ?

Listen to the two of you with such conveniently short memories.
Think any conservatives have forgotten the all-out Bush bashing that went on for years (not months)? Well, we haven't. And so as long as obama keeps failing to live up to his pre-election messiah billing by providing (daily) excellent reasons to doubt him and criticize him, that's what you will continue to see.
Agreed, some of it is ridiculous, but then so was the Bush-bashing (including his wife and children) that - like I said - went on for years.
