I'm a girl. I know my history. Obviously you don't.

Jimmy Carters lies
Jimmy Carter - Jew Hater and Genocide Enabler
Jimmy Carter's Settlement Freeze Lies
Jimmy Carter - lies, slander and Jew Hatred
Carters Book Full of Lies
Florida Officials Shred Jimmy Carters Lies
Carter lays wreath at grave of mass murdering, pedophile terrorist Arafat
Carter - worst president in history
Jimmy Carter - worst president ever

* in his first month in office he cut the Defense Budget by $6 Billion dollars

* he unilaterally removed all nuclear weapons and reduced U.S. Troop levels in South Korea

* he canceled the the B-1 bomber program, further weakening the U.S. Military

* he reinstated the draft

* his SALT (Strategic Arms Limitations Talks) One and Two treaties served only to weaken U.S. defense

* Carter's National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski admitted that the United States began sending aid to anti-Soviet Afghan Islamist factions on July 3, 1979 (even then Carter was a sympathetic ally of Islamofascists)

* Carter and Brzezinski started a $40 billion covert program of training Islamic fundamentalists in Pakistan and Afghanistan

* he single-handedly ruined our relationship with Iran, a U.S. ally since World War II thereby allowing Iran's maturation into the world threat that it is today

* he refused to allow American athletes to participate in the 1980 Moscow Summer Olympics

* he increased the payroll tax for Social Security

* the prime lending rate hit 21.5% in December 1980, the highest rate in U.S. history under any President

More of Jimmy Carter - worst president ever

Gas lines hours long. Iran hostage crisis fumbled. Inflation out of control.
Gave away the Panama Canal.

Now he's bestowing legitimacy to the rigged "elections" of world dictators.
Now he's just out telling lies.

How dare you call this man 'desperate to be important'.

Because it's the truth.

Your former (and awesome) President Jimmy Carter is well loved and respected here,

Canada loves him?
That doesn't surprise me.
You can have him. Heck ... take his little buddy Obama as well.

Since Obama is serving out Jimmy Carter's 2nd term for him, I guess Carter has to make an appearance every now and then?

The fact that Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush never received the Nobel Peace Prize but a scumbag like Carter got one just shows you how worthless the Prize actually is.

Now FF, you are being disingenuous at the very least...
When I stated the incongruity between recent Palestinian losses in the Gaza with those of the Israelis, roughly a 100 to one ratio...you responded by attacking the source, Huffingon Post. In turn, here you are citing your sources...a series of web logs of decidedly partisan nature.

You can't have it both ways and expect to be treated seriously. And you still refuse to address the issues at hand. I think I recognise that pattern.

Deny ignorance, indeed.

Every time Carter opens his mouth, he tortures people. He basically handed over Iran to the clergy nuts when he was president, and they have been torturing young and old Iranians ever since.

Ooops, since your nik was a hockey fan I naturally assumed you were a guy...me bad lol.

But all of your anti-Carter sites are blaaaa

He did nothing intentionally evil of the sort. He did what was best for the country at the time.

Back in the day, Afghani-s we fighting other territories and it was a necessity. Not to mention how the Russians were involved. He was a peace-loving man doing the best he could and took as little advice from his peers (outside of Congress) that he could. Do not forget, all he did had Congressional approval, so if you didn't, then your parents gave approval for what he said and did. He went against mainstream on many subjects. Good for him.

Intentionally evil? Probably not.
Inept? Absolutely.

No. He did what he thought was best, but that turned out not to be what was best for the country.

then your parents gave approval for what he said and did.

Actually, to my shame, I voted for him.
God help me ... I did.

Actually ... I did. The information provided showed the man just lies.
He lies and he loves to prop up communist/socialist dictators around the world.
Nothing he says can be taken at face value. Nothing.

Point A: You only perceive a crime in propping up dictators when they are not ones you approve of, ie those of a right-wing flavour.

Point B: Give me facts from an accredited news source...not some right wing blog. The Huff Post story on Gaza came from the BBC, by the way.

Let's see if we can't shuck some of that hypocrisy, eh?

Really? How about some coroberating evidence from the same source?

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said at the time:

"The American public needs to understand, we're talking about rape and murder here. We're not just talking about giving people a humiliating experience. We're talking about rape and murder and some very serious charges."

Seems to be saying the same thing as Carter. Is it still "bunk"?

Graham isn't as big of a moron as Carter. Anything Carter says can automatically be dismissed. If the same information comes from other sources then those sources and the information should be looked at.

Hey intrepid .. one of your fellow countrymen here said ya'll just LOVE Carter up there in hockeyland .... Ya' want him? I can start an online petition or something to have him shipped up there. We'll even throw in Pelosi as a bonus.

I hear you dawnstar.

And i agree 100%.

Yes, i can see the dilema..if a soldier refuses to go along with this kind of thing with others in his/her section or unit, they are running a serious risk of a fast encounter from 'friendly fire'. I get that.

Every situation is unique i guess, and you play your cards as they are dealt to you i suppose, but everything considered, if it comes down to raping and torturing children i would do everything in my power to prevent it. So would the vast majority of the guys i was in the Army with at the time. Thinking back, i can't think of a single person i was with, who would have done similar things to kids. Adult enemy combatants are a different story, especially if they had just blown a few of my fellows up! The difference is the adults have a choice.

This sort of thing happened in Vietman too, and i suspect more than a few 'officers' and soldiers met with unfortunate accidents around this kind of thing.

Apart from the obvious inhumanity, this is also counterproductive.
How the hell are we to win over the hearts and minds, if we are thought of as evil incarnate, and doing a pretty good job of justifying the title?

Yeah, i'd like to see the Bush cartel in the hague for war crimes too.

Carter is a senile old man who is irrelevant and who desperately wants to be important somehow. He's been caught telling massive lies in the past and there is no reason to believe him now. He's always cozied up to radical left wing hoods. I see that his old age and irrelevancy hasn't changed him at all. :shk:

Um, Hmm, Well, this wasn't solely about Carter if you would have read the whole article so I'll keep my other T & C violations comments to myself lol... Thanks for posting such an inlightened point of view. Great post, Good Job! Thumbs up for you...

Our own alleged history of mind control programs and the way some relgious teachings are, suggests to me this might be related to the CIA.

Children were also used in Vietnam as if suicide bombers. I can't say Carter is wrong about the possibilities, but he does seem to be a rebel against the system, as if some type of self deluded messiah. Right or wrong, he's on my short list for presidents I instinctively don't care for very much and apparently also an embarrassment to the U.S.

Actually, as I read things the topic is "Many Children Were Tortured Under Bush", Carter is purely the messenger. And as someone who lived through Carter's time in office, the response that I hear now is the same that I heard then. Outrage. Ah, but not outrage against the message itself, outrage because he is telling you the truth. He did the same thing when he was in office, when things were going badly he told you so. And it cost him re-election. And he hasn't stopped. There are quite a few politicians who might try following his example, but they wont, they just tell you enough to get re-elected.
