It happened in post ww2 (Berlin wall) ...and the rest is history of course...Just strikes me as odd

Is this to keep out Mexicans from trying to enter into the USA..or prevent Americans from fleeing and trying to get to Mexico (i know I read too much history...which has nasty habit of repeating....Germany...The Jew thing..Russia...you know.aaa. never mind

So much for Globalization, where only a few benefit from it.

Instead of making wars and exploiting third world countries, they (G8 members) should help them out. I can assure you they would not try to leave their homeland.

I'm going to say that fence was built to keep Mexicans out. I say this because, the Berlin wall was erected after East Berliners were fleeing Soviet controlled Berlin.

I don't see very many American's fleeing to Mexico. Besides, I think many Americans would flee to Canada.

Dont matter how big the wall is (or small). They don't work. Never have...never will (check history on that one) Its basically a statement (symbolic kinda)... my angle is..what the **** is next. (always is a "NEXT")

Just a thought. (BTW I live on a island and we have lots of walls lol)

Heres the Real solution.

Fix the root problems.

If we can aid Mexico in avoiding social collapse, than we can prevent the massive waves of illegal immigration.

Reactionary measures are pointless and ineffective. Lets get to the ROOT of the problem and prevent it from occurring in the future.

If Mexico improved, than most illegals would move back.

Same goes with greater region of Central America.

There is a Reason they are coming here. This is the basis of our solution.

Looks good, we need the wall. At least it will make it harder for illegals to get to USA. We can work on fixing the problem in the meantime. Illegals coming to California have greatly contributed to its demise...

What about the wall cornering the Palestinians. There is also a new one around the slums of Rio de Janeiro

I myself would flee to France. Everyone knows Canada and UK Govt mostly does what US tells them to do. French do watever the SNIP]they want. I dunno though, Brazillian women are pretty hot, maybe Brazil is a better bet

Ever seen the Penn & Teller show [snip] its on showtime sometimes, they had a special on that there wall the US is building. They had illegal immigrants build the wall, just like the US(look into it),identical to the one being built on the border
They then had 3 groups, each of 2, attempt to infiltrate it. One group went over, one group went under, one group went through it. They all completed the task in under a minute. that wall is a major waste of money.
I say a better deterrent is landmines, or border guards with Shoot to kill orders/

Nothing worhwihile comes from Walls, not even peace....

..Borders or fenced in populations will not keep peace....

borders or division/division of populations and peoples/separation of people/s/ and their religions/beliefs, will not keep peace or saftey

They also prevent peoples from traveling, especially those seekers (or deliverers) of truth.


But they do help to keep us divided as a species. They do help to maintain our so called leaders needs for division so that they can rule us all and extract all that money and stuff we are good for.

Borders,, jeeshhh... I could go on and on but none o yees would get it..

I wish my Crystal Ball was as clear as yours but then I was never much good at divination anyways.

Walls are built to separate both sides and to maintain control for those that would control. You can debate and voice all you want about "it would never happen, nahh, not hapnin, ever" and "conspiracy nutter" til your blue in the face m8.

I just think that history has a nasty way of repeating itself. Its a bit like porn, you seen one ya seen em all, and I'm a straight guy, honest
