In Chilbolton, England in 2002 a crop circle with an alien face with an associated digital message were discovered.

[If someone can tell me how to embed the image I'll be happy to.]

I've researched this a bit but haven't been able to find any information if tests were done on the soil for electro-magnetic radiation, or if the wheat (corn?) was looked at to see if evidence of heating was found.

Has this been shown as a hoax?

Thanks, but that seems to be the same thing I have =)
I meant show the picture in the thread, so people don't have to click a link.

If you click on "member tools" you get a drop down menu, on that is..." my pictures" hit that, log in and I do believe the kind people at ats have provided some space for you to upload stuff. I think that pictures on here only show up in threads if htey're hosted here. Maybe imageshack pictures are allowed, so you could try that too

and I don't think that the crop circle was ever proved to be fake. But I don't know that for sure.

I don't have any information on the testing data you require and if it was ever carried out or released to the public.

Here is the image by the way:

I found some very detailed information regarding this crop circle, it can be found at the same site that has information on the newest "jellyfish" and "dragonfly" circles from just this week:
