I just saw a new commercial of Hulu on t.v., the channel that has orange county housewives, I couldn't find it on Youtube or Hulu's website, so I assume it's new. Anybody else see it? It was on literally 5 minutes ago.
Anyway, in the commercial I'm pretty sure I saw an image flash on with a computer and a video reading "Is this what aliens do?" or something to that extent, and at the end of course the main speaker says "Because we're aliens" after talking about t.v., twitter, myspace etc. controlling everyone.

Edit: just found it, here it is:

Edited in my OP, also the main speaker looked to me like the main character from Rescue Me.

Wait a second... Isn't this the commercial with Alec Baldwin???
If it is, it doesn't mean dookie...

Well, someone change my shorts... The poster down below has it right, hehe... It is Seth McFarlane...

I was thinking the other one, for some reason...

I gotta admit, this commercial had me crackin up, especially when the thing comes out of his stomach, haha...

Ohhhh.... Small things amuse small minds....

No it's not that one, I'm pretty sure you can't find it on the internet yet until someone puts it up on Youtube, your best chance of seeing it now would be to flip on the T.V. and with a bit of luck hope for the best.

you're talking about the hulu commercial starring dennis leary from rescue me. in the commercial he talks about facebook, myspace, and twitter with the usual "cause we're aliens" line.

This is a slow disclosure of the truth. They are all aliens, everyone in Hollywood. I knew they were all strange and disconnected and now they admit the truth, they are all aliens here to turn our minds to pudding so they can rule over us for eternity.

Or it's just their technique to get people to go to Hulu's website? More likely than everyone in Hollywood being aliens.

Or is that what they want you to believe?

If that was the case then what would be the point of the commercials anyway? If it was slow disclosure then why would they want us to believe the opposite.

It is a simple tactic to prepare the public for the truth. What else could it possibly be?

The commercials you refer to are just commercials. The Alien claim they make is just a marketing technique to get people talking about hulu.com

It seems to be an effective marketing ploy as we are talking about it now arent we?

They are not actually aliens..... They are just actors paid to read some lines for that commercial. Nothing more nothing less.

hulu.com is just a website that contains clips and whole shows for you to view on their website. It is not a "simple tactic to prepare the pbulic for the truth"......

It is a commercial for a website that has clips of tv shows, that is all.

Hollywood is not actually run by aliens....

Who said anything about slow disclosure.

They came right out and showed that they were aliens.

Didn't you see that thing come out of Seth McFarlands stomach and spit out the peanut he had just ate.

That my friends is what you call full disclosure.

A lot of ads at the moment have some sort of ET/UFO
theme, whether it`s to do with educating the public or
just good old fashioned advertising who knows, but there
certainly is a lot more imagery out there these days.
A bit OT but..
As for Dennis Leary you know the one who plagiarized
Bill Hicks act.He has made a pretty penny out of stealing
some one elses work don`t you think?
Just another puppet actor imo.

It is kind of like the 'burger king method', they don't even try to talk diet or low fat, they are fatty unhealthy food and they don't hide it, instead they market new products that are massively bad for you, and make you like it. No shame in selling you what you know you want, lol!
Anyway the concept is the same, a humorous and completely gratuitous approach to selling TV time.
