3) Quadratic equations

Oh my!!!!!!!!

Those three things are absolutely hilarious

Kaleidoscope....

I would like to add etch-a-sketch and monopoly

Oh man! I dont know, I have been in some tense situations in Monopoly, and Risk! Especially Risk. Fights have broken out, alliances broken. Im sure someone has died as a direct result of someone backstabbing them in Risk.

I would add to the list, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Candyland, and Go Fish...

I disagree. I made a snowman when I was a kid and I know for a fact that it never killed anyone or anything.

Thats why i said i did myself in, i was halfway thru my statement, and i remembered that news.
But on an unrelated subject, or maybe not, do we really know they made that mission?
And im not trying to take away from the honor of astronauts at all.
But how long exactly after the original moon landing hoax (or not) did this mission happen?
was it conspired to take attention away from a possible hoax in the first mission?
I would hope not, but is it possible?

Ring a-ring o' roses,
A pocketful of posies.
a-tissue!, a-tissue!.
We all fall down. (Dead)

Sorry nursery rhymes kill too.

No they don't, Ring of Roses is a song about the Plague, symptoms and outcome, not the cause of it, so how did it kill anyone?

See it's not the objects that kill, it's people who have them, and use them, an UZI is just a machine, until a Human picks it up and uses it, with a twist of the imagination, everything can kill in one way or another, but the truth is they don't, it's humans that kill, everything else does it to survive, never seen a bunny with Human skin boots on.

Ring a ring a roses isn't about the plague. The idea was first put out by James Leasor in 'The Plague and the Fire' in 1961. There is no contemporary account of people carrying flowers to ward off the plague, neither, I believe, is sneezing a symptom of plague.
This is one of those cases of a single book starting an enduring myth, much like Washington Irving's 'The Life and Times of Christopher Columbus' created the idea that medieval people thought the world was flat. Or Plato's Timaeus and Critias created the idea of a lost civilisation. . . .(ducks)

The answer is of course GUNS.

Guns alone don't kill people - people kill people

Art. Art does not kill. Unless you want to say that canvas and paper kill a plant. But then what about cave painting? Cave paintings do not kill anything. Neither does sculpture, or dance.

And people create a lot of things that do not kill in and of themselves. To say that something has been killed over is different than saying it was death-bringer. Art thieves have probably killed in order to steal art, but that's human greed doing the killing, not the art itself.

To determine if an item is a killing tool, you've got to look at the intent of the item by the creator, not what people have done over the item in question.

I think the question really ought to be "has anyone actually lived forever?". Remember folks, death is actually good, it makes room for new people.

Well, here's one of the earliest recorded versions from Massachusetts 1790:
Ring a ring a rosie
A bottle full of posie,
All the girls in our town
Ring for little Josie.

Seems devoid of plague references. The first appearance in print would appear to be 1881:

ring a ring. . .

and the inevitable Snopes article:

If it was that big it COULD be a danger and cause a cruise liner or supertanker to capsize once it gets out into the shipping lanes????

Mind you I'd have to recommend a date stamp, I haven't heard of someone or something being killed by having the date stamped onto it yet?

What about staples? no , you can probably get tetanus from rusty staples.
Bulldog clips? can you be pinched to death?
Paper planes? - paper cuts could take someones eye out leading to an infection .

The written word " posies" is first mentioned in a poem called 'Prothalamion or A Spousal Verse' by Edmund Spenser (1552-1599). We believe that this addresses the views of the sceptics.

Picture of a Plague Physician
of the 17th Century

Ring around the rosy
AKA as Ring a ring o' rosies

Ring around the rosy
A pocketful of posies
"Ashes, Ashes"
We all fall down!
Ring-a-Ring o'Rosies
A Pocket full of Posies
"A-tishoo! A-tishoo!"
We all fall Down!

Ring around the rosy
AKA as Ring a ring o' rosies
this was a little before the 1700s reference in massachusetts i think.
I may be wrong.
And my teacher may have been wrong.
Who knows.
Until we hear from the guy who wrote the poem, we may never know.
And may never find out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop, either!
And im from Boston, and hadnt heard of that one either?????
