Beck is new to me for the most part. I've heard him for a minute or two on the radio and seen a bit or two of his new show as I surfed through the news channels. Thanks for posting these video's. Looks like we might have a spokesman on the air. Good news if he continues. Far superior to the Jones types.

I know so terribly im "sorry", I just frown at the individuals here who make every attempt to distance themselves from the GOP hacks and the neoconservatives who brought upon this mess, but then continue to spread their messages and believe the garbage they say. It just doesnt make any sense to me.

If you look past parties and Beck, the REAL message of the video is that NOTHING has changed. Both parties load bills with earmarks, and BOTH parties are responsible for the Financial Crisis. I hate to quote Hillary Clinton, because she is also part of the problem, however, in this case, her famous book "It takes a Village" applies. It took a village of politicians, administrations, Bad Laws, Bankers, Wall Street brokers, and crooks like Madoff to create this mess. When the bust started, fingers pointed toward mortgage brokers, who were forced to fend for themselves against onerous legislation. Slowly, the truth came out. Lending firms folded as their lines of credit failed. Wall Street investment banking firms failed as their real estate-backed securities went bust. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae became insolvent. In a rush to stop the bleeding, the federal government took control. Recent victims of the bust have been huge banks. Quiet while brokers were blamed, banks issued billions in subprime loans and took huge losses. With time working against them, the weight of subprime losses became a reality.
The cause? In the late 1990s, President Clinton set a goal to increase loans to low and moderate-income Americans. Congress forced Fannie and Freddie to lower their lending guidelines. Mortgage-backed securities were gobbled up by investors, and Wall Street sought out lending firms that could supply these higher-risk mortgages. President Bush echoed the call and encouraged more lending, creating subprime products. More buyers meant less inventory, and prices skyrocketed.

Both Democrats and Republicans hold plenty of blame for the mess. Remember, these 535 (maybe 530-there are a few good Congressmen) might belong to different parties, but with few exceptions, these laws pass with both Republican and Democratic support. In addition, these politicians may put on a good act in front of the cameras, and for the Congressional Record, but afterwards, they all go out across the street, sit down to the bar with their friendly lobbyists, get soaked, and laugh at how they pulled another one over the American taxpayer.
The entire system is broken, and probably is beyond repair. Partisanship does nothing but allow the present system to continue, because it is giving aid and support to the enemy of the American people- Corrupt politicians.

I did, the guys going on about the same crap, launching at the stimulus bill and Obama. I dont blame some people for opposing the stimulus bill but hearing this guy go off about how Obama lied about this and that is nothing new. Its fox news for freaken sakes, all theyv done since the general elections is unleash their scare tactics and doom and gloom messages. Now I know for a fact there are no real solutions from the conservatives, they have done, yall have none. The tax cuts are a joke by themselves, the majority of economists including Robini and Krugman have admitted investment in the nation is the only real stimulutive solution, and all iv heard from fox news is rant rant rant.

When Bush waged an unconstitutional war where the hell was beck? Oh wait he supported the war, the one thats costing us over $600 billion, the one thats costing us $200 million a day. Where the hell was beck when the Bush administration increased spending on military by over $1 trillion (excluding Iraq). The man was nowhere to be seen.

The majority of Americans supported going to Iraq at the time. Are they all NEO CON hacks if they changed their minds?

You are willing to go to extreme lengths. I knew alot of people that supported the war because they were scared after 9/11. The government told them that they had to go there....just like they are telling scared people NOW that we NEED TO SPEND.

This happens with every presidency and everything the government does. And by who? News agencies. You know "corporate" news agencies. Why should we NOT get worked up over the issues he discusses? It is sickening.

If you can make good money telling the truth that our leaders are stealing from you - why wouldn't you?

He has better news regarding politics then any other MSM BS. But once more...should we discredit him for making a living and telling the truth?

Does it occur to anyone here, that all those earmarks by the Republicans were passed without a single yes vote in the House? And none he mentioned were put forth by Senators Spector, Snow, or Collins...the only three Republicans to vote yes in the Senate?

I'm not saying that they Republicans are not dirty. Far from it. OTOH, why would there be Republican earmarks in a bill none of the sponsors of which, voted for? Something is fishy in Denmark.

I have enjoyed telling a dozen or so Republican fundraisers, that have called soliciting, since the vote on the "stimulus" package, that I have abandoned the Republican party. That unless and until they purge the party of the three Senators who voted for it, they will never see another dime of my support money. I know that those three voting differently, would not have changed anything in the long run, most likely. What sticks in my craw, is that even when it makes no real difference, they STILL can't take a stand on what are supposed to be Republican values.

I kind of feel like Flounder must've in Animal House, when he questioned Otter about the fact that they were cutting up his brother's car. Otter's reply was right in line with the politics of today....Republican or Democrat. He smiled and said, "Hey, what can I say?! You #ed up! You trusted us!"

I think it was Bluto, who went on to be a Senator, according to the *what happened to them?* text at the end. Silly me. I thought it was a joke.....
