Diamond UFO Pasadena

This looks new, and its from one of the Texas sightings guy's youtube channel. Very interesting video regardless if its a fraud or not. What else can I say here it is...

If you read the poster's comments you'll see it is not his video. You will also see that it is probably Venus.

I live in Austin Texas where there have been a lof of recent sitings and I can clearly see Venus every night. Even when it was in line with the moon a few weeks ago and it was a lot closer to earth than usual, it looked nothing like that. Although I wasnt zoomed in with a camcorder.

There have been a few vides of diamond shaped objects posted on youtube from this area.

That's the point, when you see a bright light (like Venus) in the sky and use digital zoom with a video camera, these are the kind of effects you get.

I'm calling bull# on this one. Venus, my ass, boys (1st 2 replies).

Especially, when you consider, this next video has an incredible optical zoom, and while using some digital zoom as well, it is clearly not Venus.

It doesn't HAVE to be Venus, it just needs to be a bright source of light.

I see your BS, and re-raise you a BS - your inability to ascertain the 'effects of digital zoom' and the clear outline of an elongated octahedron is both staggering and amusing.

I'll back off my statement that it is a UFO (well, it really still IS, whether alien or not) if you'll admit this is not a ROUND object altered by zooming of a camera. NOT the original, the others I posted, particularly Coast Rica.

What it is (especially in the Costa Rica vid), I can't be sure, but if you maintain that it *is* Venus (or another spherical object) then you are just being obtuse.

Please provide other evidence other than your (or Phage's) words/opinion

That Coasta Rica guy used to have a TON of videos (now, I can only find this one). Some were shot in the day, and some zoomed in on the moon with such detail, it was amazing.

It doesn't have to be Venus to get this effect, it often is though due to Venus being the brightest object in the night sky. (besides the moon)

For god sakes, ATS needs some kind of reference page to show optical effects
etc. Even the thread title includes the word "Diamond Shaped". If you don't understand what I'm talking about, then you don't understand what you are posting.

The video says it from Russia.

But another interesting thing - somebody ripped that (vid from Costa Rica) from the original uploader and none of his stuff can be found, now - the guy actually talking in the video.

Hey, cupcake - you responded to almost every part of the post except the spherical -> diamond effect part.

Get busy.

I am begging Phage, Maybe..Maybe Not & Chadwickus. to please construct a
thread which depicts the many camera artifacts and optical tricks that are so
commonly seen in videos. Shapes, lenses, cameras, zoom, reflections,
refractions etc.

School is needed here.

Educate yourself people.

Don't be afraid to learn.

Knowledge is what makes this site great.
