Admittedly, I live in the (mostly) conservative portion of the Commonwealth of PA. I am sure I'm going to get a few chuckles from passers-by, but I live on a major thorofare in the suburbs of Harrisburg, so I know my sign will be seen.

I'd like to thank the ATS members who have inspired the slogans on the sign I intend to post in my front yard, beside the road.

Next to this sign, I will be flying an American flag upside-down... The sign of distress for those that are unaware.

The sign will read:

HITLER PROMISED "CHANGE" TOO!

HAPPY INAUGURATION DAY, SUCKERS

OBAMA CAN KEEP THE CHANGE

I will be sure to post pics of this once I post it in my yard, and I encourage every member opposed to the oncoming socialist regime to commit similar acts of peaceful and lawful protest.

I will also be watching the sign, with a camera, to catch any would be vandalists in the act of trespass and destruction of private property.

I love inciting liberals to break the law.

Pics coming Tuesday morning! I've got a sign to make!

Flame away bleeding hearts- it's falling on deaf ears.

God Bless America, the US Constitution, and Liberty!

Exactly what this new administration should be leading us back to after 8yrs of corruption, greed, and lies.

Make your sign and post it prominently! Your opinion is as valuable as anyone else's.

How do we know those aren't the same lies?
I mean i wan't to trust the guy but how can i let myself after the past eight years?
Always thought the threads about Bush staging another false flag to prolong his presidency were funny, when he could just as esily place someone he could work through in office.
I say don't trust anyone with that much power, EVER.

We don't.

Do you judge tomorrow by yesterday?
Do you judge your new friend based on your old?
Do you judge one ATS member by the words and deeds of another?

I have always said that I could be wrong about Obama. I think he's exactly what this country needs. And I could be wrong. But I will not judge him by the actions of someone else. I will judge him on HIS behavior, accomplishments and presidency. It's simply not fair to judge him based on the Bush/Cheney years.

Nothing will be known about how things will go until about 3 to 6 months after Obama is in office. Just like any other before him, nothing changes instantly after they take their hand off the bible during the inauguration.

Cheers!!!!

I didn't say i don't think he's the right choice for America, but i do have my doubts. I'd love to see someone turn this place around. And i'm not judging the man, i'm judging the line of work he's in.
I'd rather have him in office than McCain, but either way i won't trust him until his actions speak.

Your just a sore looser who likes having evil up in the whitehouse. John McCain would have lead us to a Vietnam war 2, Korean war 2, Iran would be wiped off the map and WW3 within 2 years.

Hopefully you wont shoot the kids that take down your signs from your lawn, but that will just be target practice for you evil conservatives

Just about every politician campaigns on reform and change. What's your point? Here are some campaign slogans for you:

1976 Jimmy Carter A Leader, For a Change
1984 Walter Mondale America Needs a Change
2000 George W. Bush Reformer with results
2004 George W. Bush Yes, America Can!
2008 Barack Obama Yes We Can!

I hardly consider Jimmy Carter to be Hitler.

This has been applied to every president. It has been said a hundred times here on ATS. Bush is Hitler. Obama is Hitler. I am sure Clinton is Hitler.

New subject please.

Who said I voted for/supported McCain? Also, why would Iran being wiped off the map a BAD thing???
Thank you for giving me a good idea though... As a lawful gun and property owner, I think (I'll have to check) I am in the right to at least shoot at trespassers....
Who says liberals are good for nothing? Thanks!

While the slogans you name are OK and fine and obviously your own decision to do.

I feel that if you had the opportunity you should also add to them more about our economic problems.

Slogans like "If Obama doesn't change policies and clean the dirt and corruption of Washington he is not better than the dirty politicians sucking up to Wall-Street"

I will love to see that one.

Wow.

I sure wish I had that much free time.

And a yard.

And my own house.

And extra money for supplies.

Lucky duck.

Free time? I'm laid off, but I MADE time for this. It's that important to me.
Yard? I can push mow it in less than 10 minutes, so it's very modest.
House? Built it myself, again very modest.
Money for supplies? Wife is an el-ed teacher. There's always construction paper and stuff around for that.

Yeah, I suppose I am pretty lucky.

EDIT: star for you... excellent and subtle commentary on the mess we're ALL in.

Thanks

Thanks, I wish I could be in a more open to traffic area but I live in the back woods and nobody really comes around to see anything.

If I was in a main street it would be a lot different.

I'll bet that your address is now in some data base and that guntotin language may have bought you more grief than you have bargained for.

Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.

You are aware of these statutes, I presume.
en.wikipedia.org...

Looking forward to seeing the pictures of the signs.

Good luck with your protest, I admire anyone this day and age that isn't afraid to bring attention to themselves from the PTB. Reguardless of thier ideology.

I won't be shooting at anybody... waste of ammunition. I suspect that I'll need every round I have in the coming months. I just enjoy ruffling the feathers of ultra left-wingers.

I WILL be shooting photos of any vandals though.

As for the "list"... I'm sure all of us on this site are already on a "list" for just being here, doing a lot of free thinking and speculation. That's a big no-no, you see.

I'm going to go watch FOX news now. (joke).

EDIT: As to the "hate speech" statutes, I'm fairly certain that my First Amendment rights are protecting me in this instance. It's not like I'm encouraging people to go out and commit a hate crime against BO. If anything, I am encouraging people to THINK. Heck, maybe ATS will get some new members as a result if people google "Hitler promised change too" or some such.
