Your intense hatred of anything FOX news has clouded your judgement here.

Umm I said all media not just Fox News. I dont have a hatred for them. I watch them once in awhile. I watch all of them in fact because I like to sort the crap from the real news. If you look at a few of my postings the are from Foxnews.com

With that being said in this case maybe Fox has a legitimate case I dont know I havent gone to the site and I really dont want to. I guess my point is its about damn time someone stands up to the MSM and their dirty tactics. Sorry we will just have to disagree on this one. Sometimes you need to watch who you smear. Ill be honest with you I dont think anything is going to happen anyways.

Anyone who supports criminals and criminal behavior, even if its in words only, are themselves criminals by definition.

Cyber-Terrorism causes billions in damages that are passed on to consumers and causes billions in additional costs in protecting against them. Everyone who does business and their customers are the victims. This is not a child's game. It is a major criminal endeavor.

Defending them is the same as defending any other thief or vandal. They are cheap thugs and so are their supporters.

Does it make it any less criminal to smear a group or an individual so bad that it ruins their lives and sometimes gets them killed even before they are found guilty of what they are being smeared about? Alls I have to say is its about damn time someone strikes back at the MSM. Maybe they will watch who they smear or even better investigate first and smear second.

... and Foxnews.com is still up and running just fine, 4 minutes after their supposed "fate." To put it into terms the geeks at 4chan can wrap their little heads around: EPIC FAIL.

FiatLux: Appologies. I did not intend to misattribute a quote to you.

I understand your point. Your point is that peaceful must equal passive, or else it's not peaceful. This is, indeed, incredibly stupid. Sorry if that offends you, but when someone says something stupid, I will say "Hey! Stop being stupid!"

Listen to yourself. Cyberterrorism. You are equating the clogging of a site's bandwidth for a few moments, with the intentional murder of people over a political point. Again, that's stupid. According yo your insipid logic, any action other than total pacifism is terrorism.

And how many billions of damage have resulted from the misinformation that corporations like FOX spoon feed to the people?

Legal != Moral

Oh snap wait... Foxnews.com is now being routed differently. The TTL dropped by one and its hitting a different server?

Edit: it changed again??

Sorry... I'm confused at how my post pertaining to seeing if Foxnews.com would be down by 5pm EST was off topic?

-- It's still up btw.

Edit to add: How do you check that Mike? Sorry for my ignorance...

Oh right nvm I get what you're doing lol...

Well it's still up so unless they're just transfering the servers or whatever. I'm guessing it didn't go so well?

There wasn't enough people to complete the attack. I'm currently on the 4chan board in the ddos thread.

Any big name company will have more than one server for backup.. they'd know this.

I'm not even sure they hit them, their servers may just load balance or something. It seems odd the Time to Live dropped by one though, the servers should be in the same place in the hierarchy unless they lost one. Again, speculating

You can't possibly believe these people give a damn about any of that. These children or adults with child like minds are engaging in pure vandalism. They don't believe in anything and will never make a difference in this world unless they mature. Some people never do mature.

When you resort to criminality to make a point, all you do is become a criminal. It might make a person cool with a crowd that nobody should want to be cool with, but it accomplishes nothing.

Causing change the right way is hard work and a lifetime project that requires sacrifice. The only thing that will influence the so called "MSM" is viewers. This nonsense will gain them more viewers, not less.

Most of us are capable of filtering the truth from what is reported. We don't need to engage in childish acts to get our 15 minutes of fame. These punks could care less about the world. They are doing this to cause threads like this to give themselves a thrill and to make them feel important. This is childish activity no matter how old the participant.
