What could this be?
Is this all that is left of ancient martian life?
or is there still life on mars after all...

What else other than a intelligent being could have constructed this?

could it be a shrub?

Thats what I first saw anyway, if it was then we know that mars can support plant life wich could lead to an atmosphere.

Interesting find. It's out of place no matter what it is. The first thing I saw was Jeff Goldbloom saying "That is one big pile of *snip*."

It really does look like a bundle of rocks like the other pics, and I don't think rocks stack on top of each other by themselves, so...

Great Find. It certainly looks like a man made rock pile at the very least. I'm not really seeing at as any type of shrubbery, but who knows. Maybe internos, or mikesingh will stop by to give their .02, which is generally worth a lot more than that.

Amazing Find. I'm surprises this image is available for public consumption. Thats not something that you ever see in the arid deserts here on Earth. I'm glad you included the pictures of the rock walls cus it looks eerily similar I wish it were higher quality. It would also be very interesting to see how it looks when the image is changed to show the colors how many people believe they are on Mars, blue sky and such.

Great find

Why was the ground behind the "rock" removed in the second picture?

Photoshop.

Edit: read a link provided later... Not so convinced its not fake anymore.

Great pics, thanks for posting.

If there were other similar objects nearby, I would guess that it was something natural. Because it's by itself, it seems odd.

I would love to see about six feet of the top soil, rocks, dust, etc...removed. Archaeologists gone wild!

You might be right but you have to take into consideration that there are other rocks that have similar looking features imo near by...

Hey great find! A star and flag for you, sir!
Wow, that is really strange. It really looks manmade, but it almost looks like photoshop at first sight, but w/e. I'm not photo expert.
Where is internos when you need him? I'm sure he'll be here soon...
