Hey All

How's everybody doing? So life is going good right now. Working for the local chapter of the ACLU until I start teaching in September. Anyone up for a debate at all?

I want to see you and semperfortis debate:

"The ACLU hurts America."

I am almost done with my first debate and it "Smacks" of .....well, I'm not too sure. We are at the closing statement point now. It wasn't exactly what I expected after reading so many other debates. I thought sources and all were needed, not just personal opinion.

Oh well.....it's been fun anyways.

depends on the topic skeppy

arguing is the clue
you have to present arguments and show rethorical skills

if necessary prove it and use references

Yep, but I'm not sure if the rules can be that flexible. Its something I need clarification on. Might be seen as an "unfair advantage"

As long as it is a challenge match and not a tournament and your opponent agrees then it's fine. It's been done in the past for different reasons.
