Its night and I’m in bed asleep, hours later I wake to find hands holding me down, my body paralysed and a tremendous fear of vulnerability and confusion filling my mind.
Again like so many nights before I reach out to confirm my sanity. Though I’m paralysed I’m able to slowly move my hands in a wave motion while trying to touch these ‘things.’

This happens at least 2-3 times a week, sometimes they are nice visits sometimes they aren’t (mostly aren’t). Though I’m able to touch them I can’t actually ‘feel’ them, it’s like a numbing sensation. Sometimes just to confirm to myself this is really happening I hold their hands and count how many fingers they have. (Five was my last count)

I know for a fact I’m not going through sleep paralyses because on occasions these visits happen before I’ve even fallen asleep.

Has anyone gone through anything like this?

Of course there are sceptics who’d rather stay in the safe zone and point to hallucinations and other such mind games but I’ve gone through too much for too damn long to simply tell myself this is not really happening.

Any thoughts on what is happening to me are welcome, I just want to get to the bottom of this and figure it all out....

You said above that you “Wake” hours later then have this experience. That means that you are not awake when it first occurs. It is impossible to tell what state your brain is in without the use of a EEG machine, so this is not something you can self diagnose, you need to see a doctor about it and tell him that you think you may be having Sleep Paralysis. They can send you to do a simple set of tests that will either confirm or deny that is what you are experiencing. As to the counting fingers and such, when you are having a Hypnagogic Hallucination, your brain can play all kinds of tricks on you to fill in the gaps in what you are experiencing. The reason that you are waking hours after going to bed to have these experiences is because that is when your first REM period obviously hits.

I agree with the above, and I add this suggestion.

If you doubt him and need convincing, then sleep somewhere else. You will still have the experience no matter where you are.

It does not mean that there is anything wrong with your sanity. But if you let a sleep deprivation condition like that get out of control and you will develop a mental condition.

Please trust me, I woke up with headaches so bad I rolled on the floor screaming for hours, I did that for years, and eventually discovered they were caused by Sleep Apnea. I was stopping breathing a thousand times a night and my brain was swelling from lack of oxygen and lack of sleep.

Sleep disorders can be treated easily, once they are diagnosed properly. Find someone who is expert, don't go to your local witchdoctor of a general practicioner. Find a sleep specialist. You do not have to suffer. You are not mentally ill either.

Ok for some reason I can’t see the first reply made - Cyberbian’s shows up as the first….. did I accidentally ignore him if so how do I un-ignore?

I have had this problem before. I don't fell like going into detail right now, but I solved it by staying awake and trying to clear my mind and all the mental crap that was going on, believe me there was more than mental things at play. But that was the most important thing, there was an external power at play that had infiltrated my dream state and I rejected it.

WOW!!! I think you have just diagnosed a health problem I have!!!
I have sleep apnea but didn't realize the headaches may be associated with it.
Seriously!!!
Thanks for the help.

Sorry too the OP, I can't help you there, interesting though.

I do have one question, if you have anybody in the room physically present, that can observe you... Will the events take place?

Fox.

I’d like to believe it’s all just something mentally wrong with me so then I can just get some prescribed medication and it will all go away but the problem is I’m as aware when it happens as I am now.

No, it only happens when I’m alone (strangely enough)
My main reason I believe there’s not something mentally wrong with me is because a few months back while I was paralysed in the morning (not just at nights) I heard a bird chirp and straight away I was unparalysed and back to my normal self. It seems to me what ever was paralysing me was startled by the bird and somehow vanished.

Seriously you do have control, wether you want to belive or not, you do. I was blindfolded and strangled in my sleep. But you have to know when to say that you are in control and the deity that is infiltrating your dream state is not, you have to take control. It is totally mental, you have control over it, don't forget that.

Dude, set up a freaking camera in your room if it happens 2-3 times. You can either catch it or stop it.

You can't really see it or catch it, it is like sleep paralysis, but it is completely mental and/or a spiritual demon of sorts. I suppose you might be able to capture it using different camera filters perhaps. But thats what ATS is for. So yeah, give it a try, and then say go away demon! Man that is fun to say.

Well it doesnt appear if somebody is in the room or if a bird tweets. So if it is mental the camera will either deter his mind from allowing this demon or his own thoughts to take control or catch nothing happening but him waking up, all good.

If it is something physical. Well if it doesnt know the camera is there, it'll be caught doing what its doing and we can watch and be witnesses to something.

Well the one experience that I did have I could go into way more detail, but I won't right now because is 4 am and I am tired and I spend way too much time here anyways. I don't know, I had a sequence of dreams that interfeared with four differnet times that I woke up and each moment (awake and asleep) was consistent with the last moment that I was asleep. In other words, I was in the same physical plane, only I saw things that were going on in a dream state at the same time. The very last time when I decided not to go back to sleep I was still in a dream state (in my bed) being strangled with my own blankets and there was a voice speaking about very terrible things. When I woke up I was sitting up covered with blankets. But I was very firm and wished it away and have not had an experience like that ever since.

I’ve tried capturing the events on camera with my (SDR-H20 Panasonic) and every time I have it running nothing happens. For an entire week just before I went to sleep I would set it up and come home from TAFE the next day to check it with nothing but me on view. So I gave up and the very night I didn’t set up it happened, so I don’t know, maybe these visitors are waiting for me to put the camera away

I very occasionally suffer sleep paralysis. Even to the point where I was convinced I was up and walking around the house with the same creepy presence around.
Over the years, I have found that just willing it to stop and forcing your apparently open eyes to actually open is what it takes to make it stop. For me anyway.

Seems to support the theory that its a mental thing. You know its there so nothing happens, like when a persons there nothing happens. This doesnt ignore the fact it could be something else, but it just fits that pattern. You need a way of something being set up when your not aware, or their not aware, whichever one.

It's nothing to worry about , it's called Sleep Paralysis, and I get it once or twice a month, it usally lasts about a minute.

Paralysis: this occurs after waking up or shortly before falling asleep. the person cannot move any body part, cannot speak, and only has minimal control over blinking and breathing. This paralysis is the same paralysis that occurs when dreaming. The brain paralyzes the muscles to prevent possible injury during dreams, as some body parts may move during dreaming. If the person wakes up suddenly, the brain may still think that it is dreaming, and sustains the paralysis.

Hallucinations: Images or speaking that appear during the paralysis. The person may think that someone is standing beside them or they may hear strange sounds. These may be dreamlike, possibly causing the person to think that they are still dreaming. Often it is reported as feeling a weight on one's chest, as if being underneath a person or heavy object.

When I was a Kid it scared the hell out of me, much like you.. but you soon get used to it.. Some believe it occurs more in Lucid Dreamers.

but always good to go see the Doc' and tell him.

Peace..

The problem with is it happens before I even get to sleep. I’ll be trying to get to sleep when all of sudden I feel this strange feeling coming over me until I’m paralyzed. I’m not in a dream state or anything, still wide awake but confused and paralyzed with what feels like some sort of operation commencing upon me.

Solution leave a camera installed and recording all the time. (like a security camera you know) If what you say is true it will never happen again.. if it does.. you will have proof on camera.. either way its the best solution.

For some time now I’ve been under the impression of being visited by aliens which of course sounds insane but that’s what’s come to my attention as the reality of these events.

On the very rare occasions I’m able to see what’s going on I’ve seen people, well, what look like people anyway – During this event particularly there were two men sitting on my bed talking to each other. (Can’t remember what was said) Another time I looked upwards to find a woman in her late/mid 20’s standing above me and looking down at me as if to wonder why I was awake….

One of my earliest recollections (two years ago) involved 4-5 blue skinned aliens standing 3-4 feet in height in front of my bed. It was a glance that lasted less then a second but from what I remember, these blue skinned aliens stared at me in a sort of curious manner but at the same time seemed to be shock that I was able to open my eyes.

I have my theories as to what is really happening, aliens and humans visiting me at night??? It sounds like there might be something to those stories of the government working with aliens – who knows….

Hello andre.

You are not alone my friend !

I am going to give you some good tip's to help you fight thru the paralysis.

Ok the next time you are aware of something going on i want you to imagine there is a rope infront of you.

Now i want you to reach out with one of your hand's and grip this rope. I now want you to pull yourself up arm over arm.

I know the feeling of not being able to move when im asleep it's not nice.

I also know that feeling your talking about before you even get to sleep it come's over you in waves yes ?

You just feel your getting out of it and boom your right back there.

Sometimes you might see a blue light shooting down a tunnel as these waves pass over you correct ?

If the above does not work this next one is shure to work.

I want you to concentrate on your right big toe.

You should notice almost instantly that it is not under the same paralysation as the rest of your body.

Now you need to wiggle this big toe in a furious manner and scream out in your head WAKE UP ! WAKE UP !.

It sound's whacky but honestly whatever force is over you it will be lifted.

Your not crazy remember that !

I think there ARE thing's going on when your sleeping !

I myself have been pulled around the bedroom only to wake up with my girlfriend sound asleep next to me.

See thats what peaple need to realise no camera or video recorder can pick up on whats happening to your physical body.

What im saying is these thing's are being done to your astral body.

One more thing do you find this normally happen's after only thirty pr less of you falling asleep ?

Take care.

Regards
Lee

P.S

andre if there is anything you wish to talk about in regard to your contact with alien's please ask me.
