Are they still visiting me...?

If anyone has read my previous posts from me, I have, I believe, been visited.

However, thats not the subject of this post...

EDIT 2: correcting some issues with my english so that this is better understood...

Every night that I have a dream of an E.T. encounter or go off-world or out of the norm type dreams... and even when some nights that I visit sites like these but have no alien/ET dreams... right before I go to bed I have something happen(I almost expect it to begin by the time I make this post.)...

I hear what sounds like an electrical buzz mixed with an approaching helicopter. However, it does not change in frequency, tone, or direction. It does intensify in volume but never very very loud... I know helicopter sounds, and jets, and its similar, but I have clocked it for HOURS before. Always 1-3AM, always when I begin to get very tired. To the point of forcing myself to sleep.

A side note: This has, literally, been driving me to the point of extreme phobia. I keep my doors locked so that if anyone enters, I can attack them without it being a family member. I feel threatened, and if they, somehow, are reading this, I am hostile. I used to keep a neutral point towards E.T.s but I am beginning to hate, with the deepest part of my guts, their very existence. The more I hear the buzzing, the more I feel someone is in the room, the more I hate them.

For god's sake, I sleep under my covers and I am a grown adult.

And there goes the buzzing, just as I finish this post. God help me or I will start a intergalactic war if this doesn't stop.

Please someone tell me it is not them, tell me it is some natural occurrence and coincidence. Tell me that I have misplaced my fears.

I know people say those hostile to EBE/ETs/etc are not visited, but I started out not hostile during early visits. I have been pushed from annoyance to hate, slowly being driven to phobia of the sky itself.

A personal and side note: I think this is the most personal and upfront I have been in the public, but I feel the need for support from others with similar experiences or beliefs. This thread is based on the assumption that my experiences are not a matter of fictional dreams and that xeno-species are existent and visiting. I also have a feeling this will hurt my reputation (what little exists here); because I do feel a little insane. I know I will be if I don't get an answer as to what this is.

A side note: I realize now the buzzing began more frequently after I used a mind exercise to directly attempt contact with them. It is somewhere on these forums... the red, blue, green, yellow sectioning of your brain... I don't do it anymore, but the buzzing still comes and I still feel like I get visited. I still feel the terror of being visited when I do not want to.

Hiyah Foxe,

Thanks for sharing your experiences with all of us at ATS...I am sorry you're so distressed and I am sure there are tons of members who can relate and perhaps make you feel better with at least just comforting you with the knowledge that they believe it is happening to them as well

And if it makes you feel better, I sleep with the covers all wrapped around me like a cocoon and still sometimes take a running leap from the doorway onto the bed so the Ankle Grabbing Monster can't get me

I am not making light of your post however, I am just trying to make you feel not so isolated, and show that we all have intense fears sometimes, even ones that linger from childhood...

I would hate to be in your situation, and I think about that a lot, since I have joined ATS, how awful it must be for those who are feeling/experiencing exactly what you do, I hope you find some support with this thread you started within this awesome ATS community.

Hang in there

In my opinion some of the stuff you mention sounds like a combination of anxiety and tinnitus.

Stress and anxiety can trigger tinnitus as well as aggravate it. It is important to learn to recognize and manage stress and anxiety as these things affect your overall feelings of health and well-being, apart from heightening awareness of the tinnitus. Relaxation training and hypnotherapy may be important techniques to help you to relieve mental and physical tension. If you feel marked anxiety or depression, you should consult your doctor about medications and/or seek assistance from a psychologist or counselor.

What it is

My solution? Stop reading about Aliens and UFOs before bedtime.

While I agree with you that the majority of it LIKELY is, what about the nights that I do not(edit insert for clarification) about UFOs and Aliens.

I have had perfectly peaceful weeks, no real issues, and I have not even THOUGHT of things like this. I avoided ATS for a while because of it... yet, every now and then, it does indeed show up in my hearing. The full sensation of something is here and watching.

Can it be chronic, and subconsciously turned on without conscious fuel?

I am not disagreeing with you, but only seeking more information. It could be a mixture of reality and mentality, or all real, or all fake.

I do not know.

I hope not, but maybe it's a hearing problem? And maybe the paranoia is just created because you're associating the sound with UFOs? Just my thoughts. I'm sure there are many other possibilities.

I have a few questions –

Have you ever felt paralysed while trying to get to sleep or as just you wake up?

Have you ever seen them?

How long as this been going on for? (eg: weeks, months, years)

Yes, I have had extensive times in the past 8 years in which I have woken paralysed.

I have had four times in which I had bright lights in my room (seen from a hole I keep for breathing under my cover, facing the wall)

I have had multiple missing times.

I have had only two times in which I have directly been unlucky enough to remember meeting the users of the light. One, my memory seems to be placed with humans and a Humvee. The other seems to be untampered to a degree.

I have had close encounters of the actual crafts, with family and others.

I have had only one memorable time in which an actual craft was watching me outside.

All of my events have been reported previously, and if you guys want I can just make a single thread over my experiences.

My point is, they won't go away or they have traumatized me to the point where I am imagining them. Or, I am totally insane and I imagined my family being with me and remembering the events they have been with themselves.

I am not here to prove I have or had not had contact, sightings, and the like. I do no care at this time about any knowledge or information or fame I could seek out from them or forumers or media. I just want it to stop. I just want them to leave me alone or someone give me a cure.

I will seek a doc this week on hearing issues I might have. To see if Dulcimer is right.

I seriously, am hoping Dulcimer is right, very much so...

The more you think about a thought, the heavier that thought becomes in your mind. And if you have a clever thought-process, your randomness will randomly turned inward on you sometimes.

Do not let your random mind trap you. That is the only way it can win, is to convince you that you can be beaten.

You seem to have some similar experiences to me – though when I’m paralysed only when I’m visited and they visit me about 2-3 times a week (seriously) I’m trying to figure it all out, and yet since it began years back I haven’t been able to make a single conclusion. I’ve gone through the same damn fear – I have the covers completely over me….And yes assuming you still are being visited.

Last year I had it so bad I was afraid to sleep, it was horrible (it still is now but not as bad) after reading some stuff about how these aliens are supposed to be telepathic or something, I tried to send a message out through my mind to whom was doing all this to me - to stop causing me pain and to let me get some sleep….

Literally the next time it happened was in the morning after I woke up and not at night like it usually is and for the first time nothing bad happened, no pain, nothing – I tried to move my arms and I felt an arm so I tried to open my eyes and they vanished.

The point is, since then the majority of visits have been painless so I recommend you try to do the same and ask them to stop or whatever…….(I obviously can’t promise anything)

I get that buzzing sound too, it comes and goes. I have to agree Dulcimer may be right. Sometimes I've put the radio on so I don't have to hear it. I think it seems worse at bedtime because all the noise in your home has been turned off and everyone else is asleep, and not so much noise from outside either, so you notice it more. Also when it's dark, you aren't using your sense of vision, and this sharpens other senses, like your hearing. You seem distressed over this, and perhaps the anxiety increases the stress. Other than that, there could be other noises in your home causing this. I kept hearing a high pitched sound, and found it was a receiver running the cable on the TV. I unpluggd it and viola, the sound was gone. I hope these suggestion solve this problem for you.

I know this is a skeptic talking, but how about reassuring yourself?

Set up a video camera in your room. Keep it plugged in and pointed at your bed, but far enough away as for the camera to view most (if not all) of your room and yourself on the bed. Ensure you have the time settings switched on.
Once you hear this noise, start recording and get into bed.

Now I know, that some people will say "ah, ETs can affect electronics", but if nothing shows on the camera, and just shows you on the bed, with no problems with the timing, then you're moving into the clear.

If the camera develops problems (interference/shuts down), or actually picks something up, then you will have to develop alternatives.

Its not fool proof, but it should help

I was actually going to suggest this as you posted it. Great idea actually.

Also, I would suggest that you could talk to your neighbors about doing something similar. What I mean is, get a camera that can be aimed at your house to cover all bases. Naturally dont tell them that aliens are visiting you, just make up something like a stalker or something harmless.

I can't do the exterior neighbor camera things. I won't explain my personal life, just understand that can't be done.

As for interior, I did do it once, and something did move in my room. I had thought it paranormal, not alien, but I did not post the video as I had repeatably promised in a thread. Mostly because I was lazy, afraid, and did not want to search for it out of the massive video file, and edit those sections out for people.

EDIT: It wasn't anything 'clear', but earlier in the night I knocked a pillow off into the floor. Then later something else moves the pillow around and blocks the light from the window partially, along the window sill, inside the room... small, short. Shorter then a gray.

But that was 2 or so years ago, before the massive buzzing.

On a side note, I did do some investigation of the sound last night (armed). Its coming from a south east direction, at about 65 degrees. The only clear view my house has of a night sky. It changes in intensification the further I get from my room, but is never really gone. I double checked all electronics, nothing is running. When I power down, I pull plugs to prevent back door hackers and the likes from accessing the computer while I'm asleep.

I did some research too, it POSSIBLY could be like the Taos Hum, the recordings of those hums are similar to what I hear, but higher pitched (not very high, just not as low as those hums).

I am glad others have similar fears/experiences.

I want those who have helped me in this thread to understand that I'm not overlooking or trying to prove their opinions right or wrong, I just want to test every other possibility. Keeping a calm clear mind was helpful, I'm an over-thinking artist / multimedia specialist with a keen mind... I do listen to loud music in the mornings, and none at night. So I might have the hearing issues mentioned earlier. As for the ear problems, like I said, going to the doc this week to see.

Thats really all I can say right now, not much else to say.

For those of you who have talked about being paralyzed upon waking, that (though i suppose could be possible) is extremely unlikely to be connected with 'making contact'. There is a chemical the brain releases into the body to paralyze you while you sleep (look it up, its taught in most psychology classes) and some people suffer from a disorder where the brain either doesn't secrete enough of the reverse chemical fast enough, or at all upon waking. As per the opposite effect, sleep walking, is caused by the paralyzing chemical being nonexistant and often cause people to act out dreams.

Just a tidbit of info there...

However, to the OP, have you ever had someone hang out with you into these hours? See if they hear the noises as well? Have you ever investigated the sounds? I hear strange noises outside of my house from time to time (I actually heard a sound similar to what you described in your post, went outside, nothing, came back in, searched and searched... turns out it was my XBOX360 somehow I couldn't heard the noise it was making up close, but it resonated off the walls in my room well enough that i could hear it almost everywhere else, but went away when I turned it off). [/long parenthesis]

If no one else ever hears these sounds, and you invesitgate them with no avail, perhaps you should be medically examined. Don't mention too much about what you hear, just get a usual checkup, maybe a CAT scan to make sure you don't have any tumors, because those things can cause all sorts of strange effects on the brain. Investigate every other possibility thoroughly before assuming its a paranormal cause. This not only makes you more credible, but makes us all a lot more interested to find out whats really happening with you
