Unusual sky anomaly

I just took this photo of an unusual sky anomaly. I've never seen anything like it, but perhaps someone here has. You can clearly see the ripples in the clouds around the sun. I stretched quite far...amazing.

but pretty photos anyway!

I never see anything cool unless I look here on ATS. Cool pic! Why can't I ever see cloud anomolies or UFO's or Meteors or Aliens??

look like perfectly normal clouds to me.


Still,nice picture,clouds are great. I can watch them all day long if I'm allowed to.

I don't know. Now I'm looking for more examples of Altostratus Undulatus clouds and have found none that look like what I saw. The mystery continues...

Yeah gravity waves are not that un common and a few good examples on youtube under the same name...
