what is your favorite thing to do

trying to get to know my fellow ats'ers here a little bit.

what is your favorite thing to do? i can't do it right now but my favorite thing to do is ride motorcycles with my wife....put her on the back and just go cruising.
we had an 03 kawasaki vulcan classic that we put some serious mileage on...
this summer we are going to try to get another bike so we can get back in the wind.

there are few things i enjoy but this is numero uno...

Boon you start some good threads my man. It is nice to get on BTS and unwind from all the seriousness. My favorite thing to do is be outside, and this winter is just frigging killing me. I like to ice fish and it has been pretty good, but now the ice is too sketchy for me to brave. In the spring, summer, and fall we spend most of our time outside. I enjoy digging in the dirt in the garden, going out on the river and lakes around here fishing. Any outdoor activity, in the fall I am pretty dedicated to hunting, both small and big game. However I have to be back home on Saturdays in time to watch Notre Dame get beat, I mean play.

I also enjoy flying and building RC airplanes, that is a pretty fun thing to do. I have too many things that I enjoy doing and not nearly enough time to do them. The thing I enjoy most of all over everything else is spending time with my wife and child, that is where its at right there.

My very favorite thing is to perform music with my band "West Ella" in the Beer joints, bars, Small festivals, Casinos and pvt. parties here in the Rock Mountains of New Mexico, Texas and Colorado.

Technically It's not MY band, I'm just the bass player and I love it!!

i should have said i really enjoy playing guitar too but this is a favorite thread....riding the bike wins out by far.

My favorite thing to do (besides sleeping and dreaming about traveling, meeting people and having pleasurable fun) is blogging and posting about anything at all. Ummm: That's about it as far as justifying my existence for being alive. Good day.

I'd say spending time with my girlfriend. It's never a dull moment when she's around, even after 2 and a half years.

I love me some Mets games! I only miss a handfull of these games a season. Either you love baseball, or you hate it. I love it!

I also play poker, no limit hold 'em usually. Online, casino, or at a friends house. Truly a game of kings.

I'm not going to lie or try and justify this or anything, but my favorite thing to do is eat. I love food.

Although writing and shopping come to a close second.

Sometimes my favorite things seem the most inactive. But whatever, they appeal to me.

Writing stories (mainly horror), listening and playing music, playing video games, and watching movies. Basically that's all the indoor stuff. Other than that, I like to walk around aimlessly listening to my headphones.

I love the library. I really miss the huge one I used to go to in Tempe, Arizona. I always used to tell my kids if they couldn't find me, that is where I would be. I swear, if they installed showers and a kitchen there, I would have moved in.

I love to curl up with my pets and a good book. I like to read, and I am always trying to learn new things.

Also, I have a dock in my backyard, and live on a 42-acre lake. I love, when the weather is nice, to take a bag of wild duck feed and sit on the dock with my dogs and feed the ducks. I have baby ducks that I have watched grow, and now they come around with their own babies. Really peaceful and nice.

I also spend a lot of time working on my house, but I hate it. Takes up a lot of time, but it is certainly not a hobby.

I live fairly close to a dry lake bed Toad. LOL
I love panning for gold and searching for fossils. Mostly crinoid fossils around here. Also taking out the metal detector and scanning for meteorites. I haven't found one yet, but I won a bid on Ebay for a really
unique Gibeon.

You do a god job of it Boondock! I always appreciate a good thread where you get to know the people you debate and discuss the serious stuff with So keep em comin!
I try my best to think of good ones but always feel like they're lame and nobody would be interested lol

Ok so ....
I love the beach and my fav thing to do is spend a day lazing about on the sand and swimming, either by myself or with friends/fam. Beach parties are fun too

This winter in Japan is killing me too, TOO cold and TOO Dry, my skin is suffering and I feel terrible. And to rub it in ? it's summer back home in Australia lol Oh and there are NO nice beaches around here in Japan to go to when it is hot.

*sigh*

I am starting to take sun exposure a lot more seriously as I get older though, I don't want skin cancer, although the chances of me getting it are minimal, I always protect myself and I don't sunbathe like I used to. I take a big umbrella for shade and only get my sun in the water or when walking/playing on the beach.

Well to be honest boon, I don't do a whole lot of anything these days. Winter is not my bag baby! I'm an avid amature hiker, thats one of my few passions in this life. For the past two summers I've packed up my crap and moved out west just so that I could hike anytime I wanted. So all in all my most favorite thing to do is to be one with nature

My favourite thing to do is martial arts training (I do Pencak Silat). There's no better feeling than after a hard training session you feel you can deal with anything.

um... my favorite set of things to do is stuff that involves a general lack of clothing and a woman i care for quite dearly...

oh, i think this thread means aside from that stuff...

um...
writing and coming up with creative ideas for general movie making type stuff

man, those rc cars are teh sick.....dayum....i could have some fun with one of those.
i guess i could say that one of my favs to do is jam out to my favorite tunes....i can sit for hours and hours and listen to music....close my eyes and see the colors, the textures, etc etc....
