Hmm, the next front in the war maybe? If anything is to be done to Iran, Hezbollah will have to be dealt with. This could be the first step to that.

No offence,

but if you setup a military base in Lebanon, you are asking for trouble. Especially since the Lebanon public are not too keen on the yanks after the war with Israel last summer.

No offense, but there is no evidence of such a plan.

But Hezbollah and Lebanon's opposition seized on Edelman's comments as subtle confirmation of a pro-opposition newspaper's claim that Washington was offering a treaty that provides for bases and training in the country.

On Thursday, the pro-Syrian Lebanese newspaper As Safir reported that Washington had lodged an official request with the Beirut government for the creation of US army bases in Lebanon.

Looks like the Syrians are up to something.

Read your first post. What is your response to the article? It seems you think that America would probably build bases, which is why you were warning us. Hence I told you there is no such plan what so ever.
