David Cameron has just visited the US's majour Gang infested cities
seeing how they deal with gangs and how effective the measures are,
rehabilitation of former gang members through education systems and cracking down on gang members.

he has said its simmiler to the UK and we are facing the same problem.
now his visit there is to see their ways of dealing with things.

do you think he can use the same policies in the UK and use it part of campaign?

or are UK and US gang problems completly diffrent that it would just be a waste of time

I think there's always a degree of compare and contrast.

I think it's worth looking into, definitely.

Of course we'd have to identify the similarities and differences between gangs on the streets of California and gangs on the streets of Britain, and a carbon copy of the Californian system won't work. But there's no harm at all in examining some ideas which may be useful to tackle gang culture in the United Kingdom.
