That is a common skate. Not a fake at all...

Well, then. I feel properly chastened. Its lime-green and rather plasticy appearance threw me off.

It is a Guitarfish, and it was not caught in Russia, it was caught somewhere in the middle east. This video has been circulated for months now with different stories attached to it.

The "music" you are hearing in the video is Muslim prayers from the Koran.
