These "attack on iran imminent" threads - and there have been many of them now - always remind me of the religious nuts who keep predicting the end of the world on a certain date, and then have to keep revising the date when (of course) nothing happens.

Yes, the U.S. will definitely attack iran on *fill in your date* ...

Im with centurion1211 on this. first the attack was immenent in March, then april 6th(Good Friday), thenAPril 18th, so on and so on...funny how when these date come and go. the alarmest keep saying oh its on this date and back it up with sources of questionable reliability.

The war is coming, but people who are trying to predict exactly when are just a silly as the people who think it's not going to happen.

Wars have been human nature since the beginning of time.....

Its just as the weapons get more advanced, the wars become more bloody and alot more people die for it.

Its just a natural course of human nature..to conquer and destroy. Humans are very good at killing each other.

The next Great War will not be the end, it may in turn unify the planet under one government in which it should be. But there will always be freedom fighters and Terrorists opposing that government too.

The New World Order doesnt really seem to bad, as I have mentioned in numerous other posts. Locking up all the opposers of the current Admin I can deal with that!

Im with centurion and the captain on this. Wasnt war imminent with iran back in 2005? How about 2006? Does anyone see a pattern? "It wasnt last year but its going to be this year for sure." Its guess work at best. I dont even think you can give it a 50/50 chance. And as for the US economy "declining" as one poster said. Where are you getting your information? Cause its wrong.

Lol blinkered views...
Dont you just love them...
i am not predicting a date for invasion or War, i just believe it is nearer than ever and i do believe it imminent now...
In 2005 or 2006 i did not believe this to be the case..
But now all the signs are there..
The U.S. and UK propaganda is going in to overdrive..
Iraqi bombers "admitting" to being trained in Iran..
Bombs being traced back to Iran..
Uk forces in south Iraq stating their biggest fear now is an attack gfrom Saudi Arabia or Jordan...
Increase in Al Qaeda activity...
More "Allied" forces in the Gulf than just before the Iraq war..
"Shields" being raised all through Europe and Asia as protection from Nukes..
All this is current that is why i believe an attack is imminent..
Behaviour patterns and Intelligence makes it quite clear.

As for the U.S. economy... everything is a lie... you are living on borrowed time..
Everything you own has been mortgaged many times over..
The U.S. has borrowed so much it can never pay it back..
Thats why these wars are a distraction...
The Pet Food poisoning was another Deflection as was 911 which was the biggest of the lot..
The U.S. Has nothing left apart from all out world war...
The U.S. is the rogue nation and will not exist in its current form in 5 years.

I agree so much on that. The country don't exist anymore the way it did before. Child raping all over the country, government sponsored terrorism, economy is already dead, prison camp, abuse of police everywhere, schools are training camp for children like in the URSS, ID card, north american union, militarize police, torture, no habeas corpus, more drugs, more rape rooms, more vaccines, more evil... what else... right... it's going worse and worse everyday.

The USA will soon be unveiled to everyone as it is: the URSS. Everything is going according to the plan, most people aren't aware of it, love it or deny it.

Yes, because humans are still "animals" and have no moral values... please, killing other people is NOT natural, and getting satisfaction from genocide is not natural either!

Please don't give in too it that easily mate, i beg you. The New World Order is not a good thing, period.

Humans are not animals, and thinking in this way is insane. Allowing 6 billion humans to come under the control of a select few is NOT natural, and goes against freedom and human rights.

And besides, you have no idea what they are planning for us, because if you did, you would most definatly not be praising the NWO! If you realised how long this game has been going on you would not want to continue it. It is time for humans to finally grow up.

It was talked about alot in past, happy the subject and interest is still kicking! Seems to me it would be foolish to wait & see after Iran kicking out the nuc Inspectors and cameras. And making what some would believe are foolish statements re their determination to enrich Uranium for 'peaceful' purposes.

I had thought, and still think it will be Israel losing a load of bombs on both built and being built nuclear sites in Iran. The US with part of it's fleet in the area may be in more of a supporting role, since the change in Congress. I mean who does Iran hate more -- Israel or the US Govs?

Probably just a spelling error from angrily typing out his hate for the U.S.

Or what could it be if he really meant to type URSS (trying to put myself in his mindset) -
United Republican Socialist States?
Union of Really Stupid States?

Whatever ...

Im not sure how this fits.. But URSS

URSS is an alternative spelling of USSR, e.g. reads as Unión de Repúblicas Socialistas Soviéticas in Spanish.

Yada yada yada. Your a paranoid conspiracy theorist. Im a realist. Lets look at the hard cold facts shall we? Part of the argument is that we have completely lost our manufacturing infrastructure. Well check this out...

The index of the industrial production is up 30% over the past 10 years, its up 81% over the past 20 years.

Then we're told that china, japan and other countrys are stealing all of our high tech, well guess what? the index of production of high tech is up 735% over the past 10 years. its up 7000% over the past 20 years.

Then we're told that all of our jobs are being outsourced.... Well, guess what... Civilian employment in this country (which is at another record high at 4.4% now) increased by 17.6 million over the last 10years, and 34.7 million over the past 20 years. And then finally, real GDP is up 35% over the last 10 years, and 83% over the last 20 years..

Unlike you I see a rapidly expanding US economy..

Just to help you out here, our nations deficit is actually shrinking. The budget deficit now stands at about 1.4 percent of the nation's GDP, well below the 2.3 percent that's been the norm since 1970's. And in 2008, the US deficit as percentage of GDP is projected to be at 0.7%.. I see a strong rapidly expanding economy...
I hate deficits and the debt as much as the next red-blooded American, however... there is a LEGITIMATE point to be made, when one talks about deficits and debt, as a PER CENT of GDP. Too many simpletons, lazy ass voters, and demagogues...use raw numbers...only the numbers....not their context....to manipulate public perception. FTR, deficits and the national debt suck....but they aren't nearly the boogie-man some proclaim them to be. That said, we do need to knock off spending more than we take in...

Hello all,

furthermore to my post on the previous page I have come across some more information which I tend to beleive backs up my theory that Russia is using Iran to bait the US in their justification for an attack on America and implementation of a Russian led New World Order.

Laugh all of you who may ridicule me on my theories, I do atleast link new stories to back up my claims.....I honestly hope you reading this may and do understand the importance of what is going on here in the bigger picture..............Iraq is just the first skirmish.

Moscow signals place in new world order

Julian Borger, diplomatic editor
Wednesday April 11, 2007
The Guardian

The news that an arms race may be underway once more between Washington and Moscow has brought back some unpleasant memories, but it is also a pointer to a more complicated future.

The Kremlin's threat to counter US missile defence installations in eastern Europe is a sign that Russia will no longer acquiesce in a Pax Americana.

What seemed in the west like a post cold-war honeymoon in the nineties is remembered more as a rape by Moscow's new leaders. In their eyes Russia was taken advantage of at a moment of economic weakness by Washington, London and a band of unscrupulous Russian oligarchs. A new Russian foreign policy, published by the government in recent days makes it clear that Moscow believes the era of American hegemony is now over.

Article continues
"The myth about the unipolar world fell apart once and for all in Iraq," the review says. "A strong, more self-confident Russia has become an integral part of positive changes in the world."

The policy document is an elaboration of an anti-American polemic delivered two months ago by Vladimir Putin to a roomful of shocked western diplomats in Munich. "The Munich speech may be an event ... we look back to and say: that's when everything changed, but we should have seen it coming," said Cliff Kupchan, a former US state department official now at the Eurasia Group, a political risk consultancy.

so we see here that Russias has used the US's stuff up in Iraq as a signal to develop a new foreign poilicy, one that is more asertive in light of the US's mistakes in Iraq, one that has analysed Americas weakness and will in due course take advantage of it.

Watch this space, Im sure there'll be more developments to come, especially with all the talk of a new Cold War as a result of the US missile shield in Eastern Europe.

Now, I do not wish to appear so ignorantly, so I just would like to know where are the sources stating that any members of congress have passed an order, or introduced a resolution declaring war? I would also like to see any sources which quote or officially document a transcript of any Presently Serving / Non-Retired military commanders of signifigance issuing any orders of attack. Until these claims can be validated, Rants such as the previous as exampled by Melbourne_Militia should merely be treated as mere tabloid sensationalism much to the liking of Weekly World News, or the Enquirer, or even MAD. On a further note, perhaps for the sake of international consideration, (thousands of less informed utilize this service with even less understanding), we would consider Visual Flagging Options on people who are recognized for spreading such sensationalism in order to distinguish for users slightly inept in the subject-matter the true stated facts, and the stated ¬non-facts.

Remember people we slacked off on the last war, now we as Americans, we are going to participate on a more personal and dedicated level.

All US registered voters are to embrace Democracy By demanding audiences of House and Senate Representatives' represting district. The employed politician must make a total of 3 Public Assemblies where he will take 30 minutes to ackonwledge, and commit through servitude to have a workable scenario for voters' disputes and points of concern.

Any and all US citizen registered voters who read this should study the constitutional guidelines for making the power of the pen mightier than the sword. Public Awareness Agreements must be passed, employing the USPS to fund and distribute the printing of a Citizen Handbook written within it the Constitution of the United States of America; and Declaration of Independance, exactly as it were written during the birth of our nation prinrted in form than can be displayed on walls.

Another copy of the Constitution of the United States of America must also be provided which shall be made in a form where additional phamplets that represent edits to the original can be added together as a single print medium.

We must be the ones who preserve the Democracy, by individually making it our goal to serve each other through it.

¬non-facts being defined here merely as stated matters without the proper sourcing to declare them true stated facts before editing a post

G'day all,

I have just come across some more information, thou not from an "official" news source, reputable non the less, (even the "official" news networks are slanted to one side these days), which could point out a possible start to the much speculated war against Iran.

www.rense.com...
Titled - "Bush is mobalizing entire national guard"

be advised that a classified Pentagon report confirms what we already knew: that Bush is ordering all, repeat all, National Guard units activated (in discreet stages) for immediate shipment to Iraq. Legally, Bush can do this, but the political uproar is going to be immense. "National Guard (In Federal Status) And Reserve Mobilized As Of April 11, 2007

This week, the Army, Navy and Air Force announced an increase, while the Marine Corps and Coast Guard had a decrease. The net collective result is 1,030 more reservists mobilized than last week.

At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals while demobilizing others, making it possible for these figures to either increase or decrease. Total number currently on active duty in support of the partial mobilization for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve is 63,689; Navy Reserve, 6,404; Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, 5,079; Marine Corps Reserve, 5,514; and the Coast Guard Reserve, 302. This brings the total National Guard and Reserve personnel, who have been mobilized, to 80,988, including both units and individual augmentees."

www.defenselink.mil...

The press is being strongly advised by the White House and the DoD to "play this down" lest it cause "unnecessary political problems."

Also, there is a plan to reactivate many ex-soldiers who have completed their service within the past five years. This will be guaranteed to create even greater uproar but Bush is determined to do this and in the end, he will have his way regardless of Congress or the opinions of the American public.

The new "surge" troops are not properly armed; have absolutely no body armor, for example, and not is, or will be available, and the casualties are soaring. Bush's goal of crushing any Iraqi resistance to the American occupation has been doomed from the start but no one dares to advise him of this dismal and growingly obvious fact.

Bush obviously has a death wish but unfortunately, the casualty rates of both American military personnel and the Iraqi civilian population (ca. 600,000 in four years) have absolutely no effect on him.

Now, what has got me bewildered by this is the fact that Bush knows he is coming to the end of his term and he knows that this is and will be unpopular yet he still pushes forward with his Middle Eastern Agenda, knowing that it will be political suicide for him.

Now are these extra numbers that he is calling up "really" going to go to Iraq's new "Surge" or is he really building up a ground force for an attack on Iran?

And If this is the stage for preperations for an attack on Iran, can we not expect a "trigger" incident to occur in the near future to justify the sending of reserves/national guard/ and ex-servicemen at such a large scale?

To conclude, may I ask you Americans this - Who will be protecting the peace and your families back home in the US with almost all your armed forces deployed overseas? Its like playing soccer with everyone in attacking position and no goalkeeper?

And what might that be? I am not a fan of Iran either may I just add, thou I am a fan of truth, justice, and freedom, 3 things which I see are slowly and saddly dissappearing from existence.

Is there the same "evidence" that Iran has nuclear weapons as there was for weapons of mass destruction for Iraq? or will the "aim" of the upcoming Iran war change as the situation on the ground changes?

What might start off as a "targeted" strike against nuclear facilities might quickly escalate into a full blown ground assault, not Desert "Storm" but a Desert "Hurricane".

And then what? Lets be realistic here people.....you don't attack a nation because its people are different, it beliefs are different, or they dont agre with your policies, hell I even dont agree with US policies and my beleifs are different too, will that make me a target of the US Imperialist Forces aswell?

Or is this the "NEW" American Way?

By the way, how many "supposedly" 911 hijackers come from Iraq and Iran?

what was that, did someone say the majority came from Saudi Arabia?
Well, why the hell aren't we imposing "Regime Change" on the Saudi's?

CAN ANYBODY TELL ME THAT?

I like the way people are still in denial..
The growing evidence does point to an imminent attack on Iran..
The BS behind this "Surge" points to it..
They are getting bolder and bolder with their demands.
How long until the next false flag attack??
That is the question.

The U.S. National Guard in Iraq: its Dark History and the New Dawn
Les Blough, Axis of Logic Editor

April 10, 2007

Today, the National Guard is still in the business of genocide and colonization. When the U.S. military has been stretched like a rubber band to the point of breaking, illegal re-deployments are ripping families apart to continue the Guard’s dishonorable work of war and occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan. The United States government is in crisis – politically, organizationally, economically and militarily – perhaps moreso than anytime in it’s relatively brief history. Things are falling apart for the U.S.-led empire due to four phenomena:

1. It’s economy is based upon unlimited growth on a finite planet, dependent upon the natural resources and expanded markets into other nations via the auspices of the WTO, World Bank and IMF.

2. The rising up of the people against corrupt, puppet governments in places like Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, UAE, Mexico, and Colombia – all set up around the world by the United States under rubrics like "fighting terrorism", "regime change", "nation building", "democratization" and "liberation".

3. The success of the heroic resistance fighters in Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine who are defending their national sovereignty against the international invader, occupier, killer and thief. The Rumsfeldian strategy of hi-tech invasion miscalculated the tactical force of guerrilla warfare combined with the spirit of sacrifice, survival and triumph.

4. The rising up of the people of Latin America; their rejection of U.S. neo-liberal policies and exploitation of their economies and natural resources; their successful development of institutions like Banca del Sur, Telesur and ALBA; and the new unification of the Latin America in the national interests of member states...continues uruknet.info
