Another strange smell in NYC

Im at work now on 42nd street and coming into work i noticed a strange smell. I thought it was some sewage stuff so it slipped my mind. I go online to NY1 and it says that this Gas-like odor has been reported throughout the entire city. FDNY and NYPD sirens are going off alot. Even as far as jersey. This reminds me of the vanilla smell we had throughout the whole city last year. i hope noone lights a match lol.
