Yankees are going to put Soriano in the outfield and sign Millwood and Colon to big contracts. And they are going to re-sign Pettie.

So their rotation woudl be Mussian Millwood Colon Pettie. Now thats a lineup i woudlnt want to face.

That contract is too bad.

Unless the Red Sox pick up some of the tab, I think he stays in Boston.

Pettite will try his luck in the FA as he declines to negoitate with the Yankees.

Pettite pitched great last season for the yankees it will be a loss...

Meanwhile Outfielder Sammy Sosa announced he will not exercise the opt- out clause for the final two years of his four-year contract. So it looks like he is staying with the Cubs..

Pettite will try to look for a team in his home-town of Texas. A lot of teams will be giving Pettite some good offers. I would take him if he was in Free Agency.

Pettite is going to test his value in the market but when it is all said and done he will be a yankee next season.

For the Yankees' sake, he better.

With Clemens gone and Wells not in tip top shape and Jeff Weaver still not adjusting to the New York big time.

On espn..they stated that Curt was in a process of a deal with the Red sox's

They need bullpen help.

Not another starter.

But if the Red Sox get Curt they will likely put an end to the Yankees 6 year Al division titles. But it the Yankees can get some top FA pitchers. It still will be a good battle

One deal I heard is

Soxs get: Schilling Dbacks get: Lyon, Fossum and two minor leaguers including Gross

Let is one weird deal. The Red Sox lose tons of players but gain only one. Granted Schilling is a good pitcher but he didn't have that greaet of year. Plus he is getting older
