These are soldiers for hire.

Any country with ex-para military types without employment are welcome to apply.

I'm sure it is not difficult to hire mercenaries when you need them.

Fedayeen has been training since 1993 or 1991..

To fight US occupation..

By guerilla methods.

(Saddam Fedayeen = Saddams men of sacrifice..)

The suicide bombers arent Jihadists.. they are Saddams men..

That have done the Blood oath of Saddam Fedayeen to Saddam..

(In the oath they have promissed to die for Saddam.. to become marthyrs..)

They may be more vicious than what he expected if you take the Whitehouse line since months before the war as what they meant by 'unexpected'. It is no less vicious than what they were told by very many to expect, and in my opinion no less vicious that what they really knew to expect. To keep to what they have been saying all along they need to say it was unexpected to keep it from being yet another indicator of the lies that justified invasion in the first place.

He is exactly right...Saddam always knew it would come to this eventually... The biggest reason this "resistance" still goes on, is that they were trained to operate independently of command and control....and thus, they respond to given circumstances, not orders from superiors....
