In all my time on this board, I have never seen it MODless...

Are the Feds involved?



Has bird flu finally gotten them?



Are aliens involved?



Or is it just a planned MOD vacation somewhere in the Caribbean?




I sure hope the place doesn't get trashed while they're gone...

They´re tired because they have been working so hard lately. Mods need to sleep too. Actually while I´m typing this I can see a mod now. Yup, there is at least one now...

Maybe they forgot to invite him?

it's happened once before that i know of. the great mod-out of '04.

Darn.....a few more minutes and the revolutionary units would have been in place. We had our ATS team ready to HALO drop, our BTS team was just ready to hit the beaches. We didn't have a PTS team....darn we always have trouble getting ppl to join the PTS team. Anyway, the hordes were at the gates...even if it was for just a moment!

There have been other times when there were no mods on the boards, it is rare but can happen. if we are gone for too long things like this can happen:

Cloaking technology is not just for Star Trek.

No, basically you become "cloaked" from inactivity or inactiveness after a certain amount of time. I believe this happens to all members. I have experimented with this: as long as you stay on ATS and do not post, eventually, after a certain amount of time, you will become 'cloaked'.

But, yeah, Klingon and Romulan stealth technology not required.

I have experimented with this: as long as you stay on ATS and do not post, eventually, after a certain amount of time, you will become 'cloaked'.

Seems a lot easier to just log out, than sit there refreshing until you "cloak".

True, but in my case of experimentation, I was busy doing research or work or with the wife. Hence, upon return, I made the observations I mentioned.
