There is a program on channel 4 this week on Thursday, presented by Nick Cook (author of "The Hunt For Zero Point"). It will be on at 9pm till about 11 I think, about the evidence of extraterrestrials visiting Earth in the past 60 years.

Guys.....

I'm afraid we might be seeing a program similar to 'The Real Flying Saucers' (An extremely rubbish show that said all UFOs are the avrocar and the Belgium triangles were F-17s)

This upcoming show is called 'UFO - The Hidden Evidence', am I right?

UFO's the Secret Evidence I think from what I read in the paper so sounds pretty similar! I will probably give it a watch anyway got to be better than the rest of the rubbish that is on even if its only for the amusement factor!

Spreadthetruth - no I'm quite sure it isn't, I've seen that documentary as well about a year ago and it only lasted an hour. This show is on for 2 full hours and I saw somewhere that it was made more recently.

I wouldn't get your hopes up on this one. I'm guessing its going to be ponting fun at the UFO community and dismissing it all as one big joke (Or some really dumb theory about the government having stolen Nazi saucers and have been keeping it secret for 60 years) - Like there is nothing interesting going on and the puplic SHOULDN'T have any interest in UFOs

Then again, maybe the media will finally wake up?

This show will be good. It wont poke fun at the ufo community. You would know this if you have read the book "The Hunt For Zero Point." Nick cook is one of the most legitimate sources for evidence of UFO's.
There is a reason that this show has made it onto prime time on channel4.

yeah i know the real flying saucers and other UFO shows on Sky have been quite weak. But this show i think should be quite good, and take a serious approach to the UFO phenomenon.

In this special two-hour film, journalist Nick Cook embarks on a journey into a world of mystery and deceit. After 20 years of investigating some of the strangest and most secret military aircraft to take to the skies, Cook, a British Aerospace specialist, applies his expert knowledge to the fantastical realm of UFOs, close encounters and tales of alien abduction. Featuring dramatic reconstructions and first hand accounts, interviews with military experts and historians, as well as startling revelations gleaned from secret blueprints and classified government memos, UFOs: The Secret Evidence digs through the evidence from the last 60 years: from early sightings during the Second World War to the mass reports of alien abductions that swept America in the 80s and 90s. Drawing on such landmark cases as Roswell and the Zamora sightings, Cook attempts to establish once and for all what has really been flying through our airspace.

I wish I could catch this one.

Journalist Nick Cook embarks on a journey of discovery, mystery and deceit. A fantastical voyage of UFO's, close encounters and tales of alien abduction. Cook works for the most respected military reference magazine in the world - 'Jane's Defence Weekly'. He is an acknowledged expert in secret military flight experiments. After 20 years of investigating some of the strangest and most secret military aircraft to take to the skies, Cook applies his expert knowledge to uncovering the truth of what has really been flying overhead. He believes that many unexplained sightings of UFOs and strange tales of alien landings can be explained rationally by understanding the shadowy secret world of the defence industry. But there are some sightings that are much harder to explain away. In Alien Encounters: The Hidden Evidence, he traces the phenomenon over the last sixty years - from early sightings during the Second World War to the mass reports of alien abductions that swept America in the 80s and 90s. Drawing on such landmark cases as Roswell and the Zamora sightings, Cook attempts to answer one of the most elusive questions of our time: do UFO's really exist?

Well, his book does lean towards the idea that Nazi technology is responsable for nearly all UFOs. I'm guessing alot of people are going to take this 'Nazi UFO' theory as hard fact.

I am watching it; however, I expect that the stealth technology that we have today will be proven to have come from some black project relating to ufo craft that have been recovered.

I don't know much about this presenter; regardless, I am going to watch it. It will be worth watching and I hope an eye opener for the sceptics. There are too many ufo programmes that rationalize the subject demeaning the experiences of people like me to which I have a photo and a negative that I would like to see the sceptics try to blow away with thier rationalism.

Sometimes I think the reason they are sceptics is because they are frightened to 'take a leap of faith and see the truth for what it is'.

Rachel07

Whats this about a photo and a negative? If you have a poto then please post it up!

Anyway, in the blurb it did say "Not all UFO sightings can be easily explained" but i'm guessing then it will go into 'swamp gas' and 'ball lightning' stuff.
