Cry me a river, go find a safe space and curl up in the fetal positoinm. People's lives are so damn easy today we get this crazy crap.

This is a big part of what's ruining the whole damn country, Human beings
become addicted to comfort then become lazy and diabetic and couch
ridden. Can't bothered with political concerns like freedom. That;s the
opportunity for tragedy.

Let me know when you establish what that means.

I don't think everyone agrees what freedom is.

Are you asking me thr definition of the word freedom or
why I framed it as a political concern?

Freedom has a definition right?

Actually, I think different people have different ideas on what freedom means to them.

I can agree with that of course. Kris Kristofferson wrote that
"Freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose". But
that isn't the context is it?

A lot of people got up did something about the Dobbs ruling, that stripped freedom from women, and their families. People are still up and about trying to get a constitutional amendment to repeal Citizens United.

Are you defending the freedom to murder a child in the womb
as a right? If so I have strong opinions on that as a freedom with
out consequence that we should try and avoid here concerning
the topic. Not sure about that concern for moderation.

It gave the power back to the states to decide themselves. But you already knew that.
Roe was unconstitutional since day 1. But you already knew that.

Nope. And neither does a majority of the nation. What Dobbs did was rip a constitutional right away from the people, a right that they retained for near 50 years, and handed that right to states.

It was wrong, and its wrongness is on display daily.

I strongly disagree with the wording and doubt the sincerity of your narrative.

But, you do you.

Yes of course I did. And the wide array of venues the debate crosses
political, theological, medical and human rights define the debate.
The biggest problem with such a debate is that most people fail to
regard opposing opinions in regards to the existence of the many
different venues that must be considered legite by all. If humans
asren't capable of that. Then you end up with war and that just sucks
for everyone.

For instance Theology exists and effects everyone on the planet.
The non acceptance of that fact is completely illogical. I hope I
articulated that fluently.

I don't think it is different. I think it is the level of freedom people see as differently.

Maybe it would more precise to say people have different concepts of/for
freedom.
Not just as a word per se.

Maybe... People seem to want freedom of choice, to be left alone, not hindered in their goals, freedom of speech and expression, freedom of religion, or no religion.

Off of these is where people branch off sub-freedoms and that is where differences happen.

For example...the fear for safety is the greatest threat to all our freedoms, but many would gladly give up all their freedoms to feel safe, or at least imagery safe.

When are we going to do away with the Patriot Act that has singlehandedly undermined many of the freedoms our forefathers designed us to have, when was the last time someone talked about it? That alone should keep Justice Sotomayor awake at night, but no Pew Pew she is traumatized by other things while this huge scary beast looking her in the face. Because of that, I can see it's all a game to them, maybe she should clutch her chest more on rulings, and practice fainting spells when she doesn't get her way.

More calls for Sotomayor to step down.

MSNBC Host Calls for Sotomayor to Step Down

Former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan called on Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to retire on Monday so that President Biden could nominate another liberal justice to replace her, as former President Trump maintains leads in swing states ahead of the 2024 election.

CNN host Jake Tapper asked the panelists during his show on Tuesday if they agreed with Hasan's argument. "With Joe Biden trailing Trump in several swing states and Democrats also in danger of losing their razor-thin majority in the Senate, are we really prepared for history to repeat itself? Sotomayor will turn 70 in June," Hasan wrote in a column for The Guardian.
